I still tend to think that KVH is a better, more consistent player overall compared to TT, but that point is moot. KVH isn't a Knick anymore. I'm a Knick fan first and foremost. I don't feel that for Thomas to succeed that KVH must fail, and vice versa.

I'm also a KVH fan, and I'd like to see him continue to do well, as long as his team isn't beating ours.

The fact that their polar opposite halves of the game stresses the importance of each of these players has on the success of their respective teams. When Thomas is playing well, he makes the Knicks a very tough team to defend.

TT has been playing better as of late and might reach a higher level of consistency and production with the Knicks. He'll absolutely need to if the Knicks are to have any hope of 1) making the playoffs and 2) getting us in deep...

I believe Timmy is at his best when he is the third or fourth option on the floor. When the Big 3 was in Milwaukee he was flourishing off the bench. I see this happening here in NY because of the addition of Baker down in the post.

First of all we are still only half a game ahead of 9th, so making the playoffs is NOT a certainty in any way.

This win was great, but I'v gotten excited before after great wins this season just to be let down by a snowballing loosing streak that makes the team look like total garbage. So utnill they start playing constently good ball over a strech longer then 5-8 games declaring the team good and ready for the playoffs is not right.

As for the KVH trade, right now, this season, KVH is a better all around player. But he is what he is. TT can still get better and on his good nights is a better player then KVH on his average night. However when KVH has a great night of his own he beats TT's great night. The on thing TT got on KVH is that he has the tools to become better then KVH. Will he? I hope he will, but that is not a given. So we woutn really know how good the trade was untill like 2 years from now. So lets just stop talkin about, I agree.

Tommorow we play Wizards, a team we must be able to blowout. A tight game with them would inidcate some bad thigns to come against the Nets. The Net game will be very telling. We are supposed to be a running team now, so we'll how we can run with the team sho leaves and dyes by the running game. That and the fact that the Nets have killed over the last few years makes the game very tough. I'd rather play Sac or SA then the Nets the way we played them before. If we manage a good showing against the Nets then I might get overexcited again even thouh I really should not lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Tim Thomas:

"I'm a Knick now and they're supposed to do that. It was never about me. I'm happy to be here now. My time here was great, but I'm a Knick now."

Right on Tim!
Knicks forever!
