I heard the idiots on WFAN (who are Nyets jock lickers) talking up what a great "trading chip" Landry would be for the Knicks. If that's anyone's take on here, I'd really like to know how or why a team's GM would want to assume that contract as trade fodder, if Landry continues to be what he's been this past season; a non-shooting SG.

It's the same roster and last year and there was plenty of PT for Fields. BTW, it's an 18.7 mil contract.

I would prefer Courtney Lee or Randy Foye. But, the Knicks used their amnesty foolishly and have no real pieces to improve the team while Amare and Melo are on Max deals. A 9MM contract could be valuable down the road. The kid works hard and does the little thing. It's not his fault that Melo holds the ball and rarely hits the open man. He will be very solid with Jason Kidd. It would be nice to have two units out there and keep Amare, Tyson fresh.

Match it, who cares. Dolan raised prices 54% for one playoff win. He can afford it.
