if they're built to win in the next 2 years, doesn't it make more sense to save their scant cap room for a veteran as opposed to drafting some kid who has to learn the nba game?

i liked DJO, but saying the knicks are in win now mode doesn't help your arguement. if they're in win now mode, it actually makes more sense to stash a guy in europe and save the cap room for vets.

All Euros drafted by the NY Knicks suck. If it was San Antonio drafting I'd say you're right, but it's the Knicks. That is a historical fact.

Maybe so, but we'll see what happens. We definitely have revamped our Euro scouting since Walsh arrived. We signed Moz out of nowhere and Gallinari was not a bad pick.

Ehh none of those picks(Moz/Gallo) are Manu, Peja, Mehmet, Andrei, or even Hedo level good. We're 0 for the millenium.

uh, gallo is better than hedo. gallo was the centerpiece in a trade for carmelo anthony. that's pretty good.

You're smoking crack. Hedo's prime year averaged 20/5/5 the year the Magic went to the finals(2008-2009). Gallo is better than Hedo right now, if 15 pts/gm on erratic shooting and nothing much else is your cup of tea.

Please stop with this nonsense. Every year fans completely overreact to every pick. People crapped on Shumpert, Fields, and so on and so forth. It never ends.
