Melo has been passing the ball all year minus when he was hurt. Its just that Amare is finally getting his legs back. He didn't do much other than rehab his back in the offseason.

i don't really agree with that, for awhile melo was doing alot of holding and chucking. so far this game and definitely last game he's been much intune with the offense. i don't care about assist totals, i care about the flow of the offense and for a while it was extremely stagnant, whether he was getting assist totals or not. i like the way he's playing much better this week.

No its his own fault as well. He was getting the same mid range shots he got all last year and missed them. He played slow and even scared. Not agressive. When he did decide to go inside, he went no where. Melo's passing has helped him play better, but he can't be blamed for Amare's early season lack of hustle and bricks.

i agree but only to an extent... amear is a finisher, not a guy who can create his own shot most of the time. with melo being a more willing passer, it allows amear to get the ball where he needs to score, instead of melo taking 7 straight shots and amear finally getting the ball on the 8th possession and thinking he needs to shoot the ball because he might not know when he's going to get it again.

This is just gonna be one of those tease things that keeps getting pushed back and back. Then when he actually does play, he will re-aggravate it and miss more games and so on it continues like that. If he is what everyone is hoping to be the Knick savior, then we are totally screwed!!
