Lin would start, pull a hamstring and end the conversation.

I think he is the best pure PG on our active roster now, an upgrade at TD at the position.
TD would be suited better playing the SG, with Lin's penetration, TD might actually even be able to square up and get better looking 3pointers.

While Iman's defense at the PG, allows him to play minutes at the position, Lin > than TD at the position if given the opportunity.
Lin should get real minutes with players that can make shots, not with JJ.
He should get some PT period, allowing Melo to focus on being a threat, and not have to worry about playing Point/Forward.
His play could help Fields, Amare, TC, Melo, Iman, TD, Novak, Walker, Jordan, and even Balkman.
He can help us get better looks and higher % shots, with his consistent penetration, and ability to push the tempo.
It is apparent in his limited time here that he understand the position greater than Iman, TD, and has the ability Bibby doesn't have.
Why he isn't getting a chance is frustrating to fans, anyone with any sense of the NBA game, and with the coaching staff.

I understand your impatience with the Coaching staff, but just remember, there is a TON of coaching experience on the Knicks bench. D'Antoni alone has been coaching for over 20 years as a head coach here and in Europe. You can imagine that he's got a much better handle on these kinds of things than we do. Not to say that he can't be wrong, but I would tend to think that given his track record of making the right call most of the time I trust his judgment. The very guys that fans have complained about him not playing he's been right about them.

Corey Brewer, Derrick Brown? Two good defenders when we could not stop anyone. No excuse.

Years of coaching experience does not make you a good coach.

Corey Brewer and Derrick Brown are good role players, but let's not make this about guys that will not log major minutes for this or any team. You can't bash a coach that has won championships in Europe and been to the WCF's in the NBA 2x. It's not like he has no idea what he wants to do. Before you assume that his thinking is flawed take a real hard look at his career and if not for the Knicks looking to waste 2 years, there would be less of a stain on his career.

You're basing your critique on how he's looked when the franchise as a whole was in a tear down mode. Brown was a nobody and Brewer was a throw in. Don't use those guys as any kind of litmus test of his decision making. He's been RIGHT far more than he's been wrong in his career.

This team needs more depth. When they finally add some depth by getting Jorts back, Maybe getting B. Diddy and hopefully adding JR this team could be lethal. Gotta hope those things happen.
