In other news, Jeffries still can hit the side of the barn..

i love shumpert, but sprewell was a multiple all-star and made first team all nba one year. even comparing him to spree is a stretch at this point. i don't want to project his career or put any undo expectations on him.

but the frame, the explosiveness, the attitude, the strength, all kind of remind me of spree.

(and it's why i don't get anyone who calls him a PG.)

i dont think this is a hard call: Shump will be a better PG than TD by mid-shortened-season.... but will probably play with Bibby in second unit to guard the tougher backcourt opponent.

More impressed with Shump's Defense..He Cares.

Jeffries is still a scrub

Melo looks out of shape but his skill is outerworldly

Stat looks like a beast..hope the weight lifting doesn't make him slower

SPree had handle problems and could really only go on way, I see Shump as better in that area. He stays low to the ground, nicely. Head up too, always looking.
