I saw him once standing around. I think dude is just an after thought. He wants to be dell curry. Let him sit in a suit all year waiting for a injury

I think he got injured earlier in camp.

Don't know about online, but if you tune into MSG network at 6pm tonight they are showing it again.

http://www.msg.com/videos/allan-houston-on-the-new-season-1216-1.79206

watching this clip of scrimmage while allan houston is being interviewed.

from the scrimmage a few things stand out in a major way:

1) Iman is running with the starters and looks good. really good.

2) Toney is running the point for the bench team and looks lost. He misses guys cutting to the hoop and makes horrible passes that lead to turnovers.

I like Toney, but I just don't see him as the starting point guard. I'm hoping Baron shows up, but I think if Baron doesn't show up, Iman might be playing ahead of Toney very soon.

We need Baron in the worst way! Toney is fine backing him up providing scoring off the bench which we need

Landrys mechanics are messed up....it makes no sense to practice if your form is wrong. He shoots flat footed and the shot is a knuckle ball.

Anyway I think dude can replace Shawne on the bench this year. That's not a diss its just reality.

Although I dont' disagree with you I have to play devils advocate. What are your thoughts on the form for guys like Reggie Miller and Tim Hardaway?

I think their form is ugly lol. But repetition is very important. It gives confidence and muscle memory. I mean, I see where you were coming from as well. They say perfect practice makes perfect. But, I just believe that thats not necessarily true.

I like the addition from a defensive perspective but it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I still want to see Mike D do a good job and win here and hopefully this helps.

Woodson talked about cleaning up stuff in the video room. Accountability will be on the mind this year with woodson, and chandler here. Very exciting

Awesome. I keep hearing/reading that Woodson is vocal and is being given a chance to share his wisdom. Thats a huge upgrade from what was happening in the past.

I think we may see Shumpert start at the 2, with Fields providing much needed depth on the bench. With the potential of Shumpert and the potential signing of Baron Davis, the squad would look real nice.

9 man rotation

Pg: Davis, Bibby
Sg: Shumpert, TD
Sf: Melo, Fields
Pf: Amare, JJ
C: Chandler

Agreed. That's pretty solid. Add Travis Outlaw to that and slide Jeffries over to backup center with Jorts and we're onto something.

Jorts looks fat but he has the biggest frame on the team. He also seems like an efficient player in the 6+ minutes I got to see him. Toney did not look like he is ready at this point to handle the lead guard spot for a playoff team. Hopefully the Knicks bring Baron in. Baron can be a phenomenal player and at times he was last year. He would be a huge addition to the team especially for the vet minimum.

Jorts looks short. I'm interested in seeing just what exactly he will do for us. Apparently, the coaches love him.

he pushes off a lot but he has decent size, strong frame, and decent shot.

He looks like he will be able to contribute in limited minutes this year.
The question would be if he can play PF or C...

Woodson and the addition of Chandler, his veteran experience, leadership, and communication are keys.
Our leaders in Melo and Amare seem to also be focused on improving as well.

Ic Iman and Chandler being the 2 lock down defenders right now.
I would like to add a player like Ariza to start with them.

Ak47 or Outlaw to be the first ones of the bench with TD.

Don't tell that to Reggie Miller, Michael Redd, or Rashad Lewis.
Repetition is what makes a good shooter, not necessarily form.

difference with those guys is they had good mechanics... But awkward releases. They all could shoot off screens and and catch and shoot. Shoot off the dri bble. Landrys form cripple him to spotting up or die. He needs to be reconfigured

just bumping this just in case you guys didn't see my explanation. Marion is the worst but he can surely get his jumpshot off at anytime and make it.

From Hahn:
Last season there was the Andy and Landry Show, this year, it's Shumpy and Lumpy. Shumpert's debut will be interesting to watch, just to see how the kid's obvious swagger in practice with his teammates translates in the setting of a live NBA game. And we've overlooked another rookie, second-round pick Josh Harrellson, for too long.

Though he has the build of a dude that you might see playing offensive tackle at C.W. Post, Harrellson -- who is known around Kentucky as "Jorts" but we'll go with "Lumpy," the kid from Leave it to Beaver (before my time, yes, but I had the benefit of re-runs) -- has been a revelation so far in camp with a very soft, accurate touch from long range and a high basketball IQ.

The special was awesome. I can't believe how excited I am. Much better than the training camp thing on nbatv last year.
