same. jvg and mark jackson have gone out of their way to praise carmelo and his abilities as a player and i agree with them. what i definitely agreed with was when jvg said carmelo doesn't have to change at all as a player he just has to hustle and play defense. i know the debate rages about us giving up the guys we did and believe me there is no way i ever wanted to give up gallo but we got the best player in this deal and he's a top 10 player in this league, but it's going to take time for carmelo to adjust and he IS coachable. it's not going to happen this year, but i do believe this time next year, we're knocking on the door of 55 or so wins. it's rough right now but it will only get better.

I've seen people say this team goes as Felton goes. This team goes as Gallo goes. This team goes as Billups goes.

I'm going to fall into the same trap and say this team goes as Turiaf goes. We really need that quality big, and at least for short stretches of the season, he's been able to provide it. This units looking good.

At least the Knicks are defending and sharing the ball on the offensive end. It's not pretty, but just by moving and passing it's making a difference. One thing you have to admit is that you don't want to play the Celtic's cuz they can defend like crazy, but the Magic aren't as scary on the defensive end. You can attack them everywhere but at C.
