can't tell whether Billups is old and can't finish on drives to the basket as he once had been able to do or just still cannot explode off of legs from injury. Seems to miss layups when trying to avoid block from big as he expects to.

Carmelo is too busy getting owned by Carlos Delfino.

yeah who cares that Bogut's already grabbed 10 rebounds & guys can't hit shots to save their lives... it's all Melobury's fault

Once again you are straying off course with some sort of agenda. Carmelo is not a saint. He has not been playing well defensively since he has been here and has been a ball-stopper at the other end. Once that changes he will not receive criticism. And Amare is getting the same criticism from rational fans. But fans have more leeway for him because he has been here and proven himself already. There is no more honeymoon period for Carmelo. He forced his way here, he has to play his ass off now. End of story.

Bucks going a little cold, Knicks have to get it under 10 before the half.

Bucks offense is pathetic. If he Knicks tried like this in the 1st quarter they would be blowing this team out by now.

when u point out that Melo's too busy getting owned by Delfino it's unbiased observation, but when i point out that no one's boxing out Bogut & everyone is laying bricks i have an agenda... lol.

Haven't you been making these "Carmelo is awful" sarcastic posts this entire thread? In fact, that's what I originally replied to.

how dare he get to the line to shoot free throws? if he wants to fit into this system he better damn well be able to launch up 10 3-pointers a night, no excuses! the honeymoon phase is over!

Good 2nd quarter, now lets see if they come out in the 3rd with the same energy they showed in the 2nd.

No coincidence that the Knicks made a run as soon as Billups played with some swagger. He looks like he is starting to get his step back. Not there yet but hopefully in time for some big games coming up.

Are you guys even watching the darned game? There were several plays where STAT wasn't paying any attention and let the BUcks score with him standing in the paint. He's simply not paying attention out there. That's a player thing. See your man. See the ball.

Are you ignoring that this giving up 30+ points every first quarter is a routine thing? Regardless of who is playing. This can not be denied. Some games we do settle in and give up less the remaining 3 quarters but doesn't change the fact that it's not a recipe for success.

the good news: DFV has only played 4:36 in the 1st half
the bad news: DFV has played 4:36 in the 1st half, & has a statline of 0/0/0/0 committed 1 foul & 1 turnover

So where is all the praise for the amazing defensive adjustments MDA must have made between the 1st and 2nd quarters?

...Or do folks just chalk it up to effort by the guys on the court?
