Put some goddamn size on the court.

It's one thing if he wants to play small ball cause it gets the most out of Amare's game.

It's another when Amare is sitting with foul trouble, and we go SMALLER with a frontcourt of Shawne Williams/Chandler. Absolutely ridiculous.

And again, I hate this stupid doubling strategy we employ every single game.

We're just not hitting shots. I mean how often do we see felton miss layups this often. Their D isn't really doing anything special, we're just missing shots. Then add to it the fact that Mike decided not to use Timo or Turiaf when Amar'e got into foul trouble and there you go. I think we'll get a run and be able to get back into this in the 2nd half. Just hate to see us playing so poorly.

We played the last 6 minutes without a C or PF on the floor. I think this will work to a degree but when you have 3 guys who are 6-10 and bigger sitting there and you choose a 3 pt shooter to come in---not working in this league.

Also noticeable Fields seems to have dipped. He doesnt have an in between game and teams are figuring it out. Gallo continues to just be inconsistent.

We need a really good 2nd big and two high quality bench players. Im wondering if Gallo is a guy better suited as a 6th or 7th man because he's just not getting the job done.

You sound like D'Antoni.

It's more than that. we are playing carelessly and with little effort out there. D'Antoni's rotations have been horrible as usual.

Felton has been taking some bad shots lately to start the game. The kind of shots you might see in a pick up game. He is the floor general, he has to set a better example. It could be cause he's hurt or just too tired from all the minutes, even early on in games. He looked like he was going to keel over at the end of the first half.

It's not the best game. I concede that we're not elite. But Kenny brought up a good point, from an MDA interview. After 6 years of no playoffs, we have to be happy with just an appearance right now. It's a great start, and anything extra is just a nice bonus. So I think we have accomplished that goal, a playoff team on the upswing, lots of room to improve.

just more proof how horrible this team looks when Amare's off the floor & we're not hitting our 3 pt shots... Gallo's having yet another invisible half.

I think we match up real well with the Magic. We just had a bad stretch offensively and then we got into foul trouble. I didn't even like the last call on Amar'e. When we're not hitting shots it always looks bad, but what bothered me was also the missed FT's and the bad shots by Felton, which isn't normal.

He has been taking the same shots all year. Only difference is he is missing them more now.

I would be content being a playoff team if we werent paying a 28 yr old Amare 20 million a year to do it. If we were a playoff team based off the play of our young guys I'd be content but with Amare here my goals are a little higher.
