The bail amount means nothing. Bail is used to insure your appearance in court, not a indication of innocence or guilt. Lance most likely isn't a flight risk.

c'mon dude. most men have the physical advantage over most women anyway. this dude is a 6'5" 210lb professional athlete. whether or not that woman was talking ****, or hitting him, he had the strength to physically subdue her without beating on her or throwing her down the stairs. not to mention, he always has the option of walking away.

i don't get the age angle either. i don't think it bears any relevance. sure a 19 year old is less mature, but this is a deep-seated moral character issue. people should inherently know that it's not right to physically attack someone who is at a great physical disadvantage and poses no legitimate threat to them.

I seen a friend of mind (who's a bouncer) get his ass kick by 2 chics just cause he didn't wanna hit them back. And his beef was with the boyfriend who was pissy drunk and totally out of control. When the mele was over my friend had a busted lip, broken finger, and face full of pepper spray, not to mention a chair over his back (a metal one at it)..

It doesn't directly relate to this particular case, but as a whole, it still translates into man hitting a woman, for what ever reason..

Backing him up was not a option, he gets paid $400 a night to take that abuse..Outside of his side gig,well thats a different story.
