Martin Canadian Knick fans is correct about wilkens, read my post on wilens losingest coach , it's seriously something wrong here.

This team is completely apathetic on defense, and has been since the Marbury trade. I don't know if Lenny Wilkens is the guy who can infuse defensive intensity in this team. In that regard Fratello seemed like a better hire. Let's see if Wilkens can turn this around though. I'm just glad Chaney is gone.

Though I will say this roster is full of scorers and shooters who can hit from a lot of places. Even Doleac has shown tonight he can come off the bench and hit some shots...

...but definatly worse on D since Steph got here....I think its just an adjustment period to get the team D back to where it was. Steph is a decent defender.

Andrew...lol...agreed. We've had some flashes earlier in the year, it just seems that in the last week we're given up 100 points very easily...

Look, I know there's no coach tonight, but as Knicks fan you have to be concerned with the very lax D. This is a poor shooting, poor scoring Orlando team that is putting up an easy 100+ points on us. This D intensity must be turned up.
<P>
That being said, its a very fluid offensive effort with great balance. KVH jumped right in seemlessly tonight. There are now a lot of guys who can score on this team, when before there was just one.
