Unfortunately the DOLAN factor weighs heavily on all decisions. People blame MDA, but really it's Dolan who wants to see the team constantly trying to go for the instant gratification. IF you think about it that's been a big problem here for a long time. The constant push to try and get to the playoffs and buy vets who are supposed to help the team win now. Screw the future.

Nix this is pure bull**** my friend. Let me get this straight now. After talking about how much autonomy both he and Walsh have you now say Dolan is dictating to MDA who should play and who shouldn't. Who he should keep on the roster vs. who gets kicked to the curb or who is drafted and who isn't? Is he telling Mike how minutes someone should be getting? Is he calling Jordan Hill a bad rookie in meetings and Mike is just relying the message to the public? Is he telling him that 'no keep playing Duhon even though he stinks and just sit Toney because...

There is noway in hell you believe that crap yourself, let alone try to pass it off like it is sincere.

I agree in some instances. I think D'Antoni was hired to coach a rebuilding team because Dolan wanted the biggest name guy not the right fit. But I disagree with the roster. Bender, Jeffries and Duhon getting minutes over Douglas, Hill, Nate, Hughes, and Darko never made sense and if Dolan is that involved he had to approve the acquiring of three of those guys last year.

No way Crush. Dolan has sat back and watch. I don't think he had any impact on this roster other than not giving Marbury that quick buyout. Other than that MDA and Walsh have been on the hook for these last two years. I think he popped his head in when Walsh was putting together that Houston trade sending picks because of the past as Isola pointed out.
