some other semi-interesting gossipy observations..

a renaldo balkman sighting...looking a bit heavier in a suit...

just before the game lee went over and gave him a very friendly pound...

also the so-called/alleged fugazi was in the house...

two separate fan groups waving spanish flags (assumedly regarding sergio) were noticed...

wow, nice win but we got a huge hand from the refs in this game... some real generous calls going our way in the closing minutes... but hey, i'll take it!

gotta love Gallo's moxy going at it with Melo in the 3rd quarter... Toney Douglas with a big bounceback in the 2nd half after a horrible 1st half... D Lee can't buy a bucket but put forth the effort on defense for a change... Giddens looking more & more like a keeper this summer... Al playing a very nice overall game... thought we would miss Chandler's presence in this game but we got through it well.

Douglas is a tenacious defender but it worries me that a 24 yr old rookie doesnt know good shots from bad shots especially in crunch time. Douglas's decision making skills are highly suspect. Now if he was 20 or 21 I wouldnt care but the guy is 24.

Also I like Giddens hustle but the guy seems to have an attitude problem. Why complain about every call when you are clearly fouling the player. With that said it is nice have that "guy" playing on our team. Plays hard and physical and doesnt back down from anyone.

If we could grab Joe Johnson and Gay we could attempt to mimic Atlanta's success. Obviously they would have the better defenders but we'd have the better shooters.

Just watched the game. Al played great on both ends. This was was easily his most complete game of the season.
TD needs to learn not to leave his feet too quickly on D. Struggled in the first half, great second half.
The 3rd quarter was a pleasure to watch. That Gallo guy, stiff legs.
If this team can somehow get an inside presence.

I especially liked Al's forced shots and turnovers, including one key one down the stretch. His defense was also very accomodating for the opponent. It was a complete game from him on both ends, I agree.

23 points, 9 boards, 2 steals, took a couple of charges. I would say he was more interested in playing D than he has ever been this season.

Box score doesn't tell the story of Al Harrington. It really doesn't and never will. If I went by his averages, I would think he's a perennial all star.

Tonight I did not feel running his cheap butt to LA for the MLE as he requested begged on his shoes.

Kudos to Danilo Gallinari. I'm not really a fan of his game but it took guts to go head to head with a trash talking Carmelo Anthony and pretty much match him bucket for bucket.

And Toney Douglas is a BEAST.

I can't believe David the Doorman Lee actually took a charge.

We got some timely calls the bogus call when Lee made an offensive foul and the one where Mello took the ball from Harrington and they called a foul.

Other than that it was a n entertaining game

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I saw it, it was actually a very good, athletic block, skying to reject it at the top of it's parabola. Not like his usual jazzhands. DLee showing good defense the past few games and he should get credit for that.

parabola? PARABOLA? did you just use parabola in a sentence to describe a shot? VERY european.

I can wear my own shiny red vinyl suit and the chiquitas will dig my accent. West coast 5 game swings will be a nonstop padunkadunkathon. Wonder how many Laker girls I can fit into one hotel room?
