They are at the mercy of any deal. If they dont get rid of Jefferies and Hill --they have one spot for a team that has holes up and down the roster. They are shipping out a 1-5 pick to Utah[which will be 4 weeks of embarrassment when it comes]

They are really working from a position if weakness. To be honest with you--I would wait for the draft and try to trade off Gallinari and Chandler IF they bring back two top 10 picks where I can get Monroe and one of the C's. If I can start with an infrastructure up the middle--then I can work backwards. Gallinari is so overhyped but maybe one team in the top 10 will take him--Chandler couldve got pick 5 last year[what a blunder--but oh wel]

if u can trade Gallo or Wislon for top 10 picks in this draft it's a no brainer, but i don't see any of the bad teams in the NBA being willing to do that.

so briggs, you think gallo and chandler can get top 10 picks.. so why trade them? unless you are saying there are other GM's who feel they are better than any possible top 10 pick.. and if they are saying that, then are you telling us, your talent evaluating skills are better than theirs? I understand you want to start with getting a center, but you wanted brook lopez, and his team just has 5 wins.. got their 5th win tonight... Knicks problems are not all about personell, but philosophy if you ask me....

Wall is a stud but there are other big impact level prospects in the lottery this year... DeMarcus Cousins is a beast, then u have guys like Turner & Johnson who many are high on & i've read some good things about... Favors looks like he could be special too & then there's that euro kid from Lithuania who they're hyping up to be the next Sabonis/Dirk clone... don't get me wrong here, i like Gallo & Wilson, but we're talking about top 10 picks in a talent rich draft... but u'r probably right, i don't wanna arm DW with any more picks he might get some bright ideas about trying to dump Curry's contract.

but TMS, Jordan hill looked like a beast last year.. If gallo played college ball, I wouldnt' doubt he would be a beast.. at what point do we say. Ok coach, these kids have talent, develop them properly. I have no doubt if gallo was on a team like the kings with westphal as coach, he would be a hell of a player right now and we would be regretting we passed him up... the teams philosophy and how we treat young players has to change.. for years we have had coaches that ignored young players... gallo and chandler can play, I have no doubt they are as good as anyone in this draft, this year should have been spent developing the kids.. and so far, we faield at that!!

blow it up I agree, but keep gallo and chandler, douglas and even hill. those kids have talent, I have no doubt, I am just dissapointed at how they were handled this year... a transition year at that..

honestly, it should have been addressed after that 1-9 start.. LOL.. this was supposed to be an important year for gallo and chandler and so far, they were treated like they were not priorities..

you know very well i've been a big supporter of Gallo, Wilson & Jordan Hill ever since we picked those kids but i'll tell u right now there are at least 3 other guys in the draft this year i'd rather have than any of them... anyway this is all moot cuz there's no way we're landing a top 10 pick for Gallo or Wilson.
