Draft position is really irrelevant to standing out. Some nights these rookies look like the best player on their teams and best players on the floor period. Jennings wasn't special tonight and definitely nowhere near the level of play he talked up before the game.

What is "special"? Does he have to play like Kobe Bryant? He sliced the Knicks up and took over the game in the second half. They could not stop him and he set up his teammates and warped the defense. felt pretty special to me for a 19-20 year old rookie kid.

We didn't stop Ersan nor Warrick either so that's not saying much. He hit a couple 3's, a couple layups, hit some guys rolling to the paint in our pathetic defense. He bounced back adequately but stop making it more than what it was.

No different than Knick fans talking up what David Lee does as if he's super special.

Really? You're trying to compare Jennings to Ilyasova and Warrick? Your point is already a big fail.

Ilyasova got off on David Lee like every other player in the world. Guess who was setting him up and collapsing the defense? Jennings. Warrick got a few buckets guess who was collapsing the defense? Jennings.

He did not just hit a couple of 3's and layups, he broke down the defense again and again. By the way he a is a rookie who can't even buy a drink legally. What part of that escapes you?

I got a better idea: Instead of you telling me to stop making it more than it was, why don't you stop trying to convince yourself that the Knicks did not pass up a catalyst type of player who makes his teammates better?

I got a better idea part 2: Forget this game and look at how he has a Bucks team with its best veteran players injured left and right and playing with leftover players all season 1 game out of the playoffs.

The kid is legit no matter if you want to admit it or not. Sorry to let you know.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I can tell you didn't even watch this game LOL! Trying to base everything off the second half and roll it up into some inaccurate points.

Here's proof

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/playbyplay/_/id/300205018/milwaukee-bucks-vs-new-york-knicks Jerry StackHouse come in the game for Brandon Jennings at the 4:30min 1rst qrt. Ersan doesn't enter the game until 2:30min left in the first qrt and scored 4pts in the 1rst while Jennings was on the bench assisted on one of his scores from StackHouse

Link 2 shows 2nd qrt Game Log
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/playbyplay/_/id/300205018/period/2/milwaukee-bucks-vs-new-york-knicks Jennings doesn't come back until 8:30min mark. Ersan scored another 3pts assisted by Luke Ridnour. Ersan scores another quick 5pts when Jennings comes in one of the scores assisted by Jennings the other he did via his own efforts. So far Ersan has scored 9pts without the help of Jennings. Ersan scores another 2pts on his own at the foul line because he drew a foul. Ersan makes another jumper but it was assisted by Charlie Bell. So far a total of 15pts but Jennings was only responsible for assisting him on 1 of his scores a 3ptr. Then Jennings goes to the bench at the 2:30min mark and the half closes with Ersan scoring a layup while Jennings sits. 17pts in the first half Jennings only responsible on 1 of his scores

In the second half Jennings assisted Ersan on 2 of his scores the other 4pts he scored on his own 6ft jumper and hit a couple free throws late. Ersan was mainly responsible for his own offense and was lathered up by the time second half got underway and Jennings found himself

As far as the Bucks play with a limited roster my answer to that is...

Skiles has Point Guards! I guarantee that MDA's team looks a LOT better if he has at least one real PG. MDA also doesn't have a real Center and don't give me Darko or Hill! People here are so ready to bash MDA they have no sense of the realities of the roster we have.

My take on Jennings

He is an advanced skilled PG who keeps a nice tempo and protects the ball well with very good vision.
I think when he matures physically--he will be difficult to contain going to the basket and will be able to use less motion in his jumpshot making it more efficient. Jennings looks a LOT better than either of our two players with no where near the experience. To look at his FG% and say he scks is not giving his game it's due. He's one heckuva player who will develop as his body gets stronger and he is able to score more at the rim.

RIP Crushalot😞
