actually, check out that nytimes article on him on the front page, it's really recent-- he contends that he is REALLY good in practice, but practice doesn't translate to playing time in nba.

darko is resigned to returning to serbia, where he can be himself. he just never wanted to change for the nba, and he has the luxury of doing that with all the millions he's earned. you know?

someone mention he too cool-- i forget who-- but i think this is true. dude is too cool for nba...they call him a poet in a 7 foot body. he march to his own drum beat they say.
