heres some footage of the 24 assist game. bucks scored 130 but gave up 150pts in that game.

Got to be honest, one game footage and highlight reels mean very little to me.

I agree

Duhon had 22 pts on 8-9 shooting (4-4 from 3) and 15 assists in that same game

So then what was the point in showing it?

I agree that vids and highlight reels do nothing for you. This type of microbial evidence for or against someone is irrelevant to you. We gotta wait till after the investment is made, see a guy not live up to his draft position or contract then judge if it was worth it.

You know that when you act like an asse constantly you begin to lose credibility.

This video has nothing to do with draft picks, but obviously you are having a baby hissy fit over our conversation from yesterday so I will address it, hopefully to clear things up for you.

1.) You can judge a draft pick and make a prediction on how they will do the moment you have seen them play. You can predict that he will flop and that Walsh will be fired because of it. I do not begrudge anyone that right.

2.) You cannot hold a GM "accountable" based on your above prediction. We have all made our predictions on Hill, Gallo and Douglas at this point but their play on the court will determine Walsh's fate. All we can do at this point is wait and see. We can cry and moan for the next 8 months but it doesn't change the fact that their play on the court is what will hold Walsh accountable.

3.) I don't judge players based on highlight reels. You are correct, they mean nothing to me. I know a lot of coaches that competed with me for players, who got fired because they based their analysis on highlight reels.
I just hope that people will like me

At least this gamble is on a young player who showed some real promise in his first real year playing, not forking over max money on a player who hadnt succeeded anywhere he has played. Duhon was a good pickup last year for the same amount of dollars if I am not mistaken (not years of course).

I have read in this post that Sessions is only average (so was Duhon early in the season and look how good we were looking with him running it, well not good but you get the point), so what, you are not going to get a superstar for the MLE, and if this young pg can keep on improving, especially in this system, his numbers will make him tradable at the very least, or maybe he can be our pg of the future if he keeps on improving, which is a good bet that he does.

I like Sessions and like anyone else have some reservations about whether he will continue to improve and be able to thrive in our system, but I think he's more likely to be able to succeed based on his style of play. He's a good drive and kick guy and if he can improve his shot, which is possible, since he's not horrible just inconsistent, then we may have a real steal on our hands.

Sessions is a deal that should have been done already. This kid is a solid talent. Plenty of guards had to learn to shoot the three. This kid can improve and once he gets his 3 point shot down, he is going to be a near allstar player. I say sign him to a full 5 yr MLE deal and lets move on.

Do a sign and trade of Nate and Jeffries for an expiring contract.

Do a sign and trade of Lee for an expiring contract, a young prospect, and 1st round draft pick.

Team is:

Sessions
Hughes
Chandler
Harrington
Darko

With Curry, Gallo, Hill, Duhon, and Douglas on the bench.

We go into next draft with a draft pick to replace the one we lost to Utah and a boatload of salary cap space.
