what's up with all the cartoon lookin chicks? i mean, somebody is crankin up the photoshop on these pics. too much. this might get me killed on this board, but do people really think women look like this? This might be one of the tackiest examples of photoshop overkill I've ever seen.

got news for ya, just about every pic that gets put into print is photoshopped in some form or another... i used to do that for a living, i know.

i agree w/u that pic is way overkill on the photoshopping but u can say the same for many of the other pics that are being posted.

yeah, and before photoshop, pics were being retouched by airbrush. sure, it's in every pic. my point was that the Yi pic was particularly tacky in it's retouching. the only reason i came across that pic and singled it out was because i saw some controversy in the dawson poll about the yi / vega matchup. i def saw a ton of mendoza pics that were just as bad or even worse. it's nothing against the girl. i'm taking issue with the retouch job. though, it begs the question, if a particular girl needs that much retouching, then...? i think in order to make these tournament matchups fair, we need to see these girls live and in person. make it happen bukkake-son.

well i actually have met Natasha in real life & let me tell ya, there's not much that needs to be retouched on her... she's even more bukkake worthy when u see her live & in the flesh... i'll guarantee u that there are more blemishes on the faces of other candidates in this tourney than there are on her... never met Christine before so i can't speak to her but have seen plenty of cameo shots of her that aren't retouched on the web & i can say there's not much that's been retouched on her either... feel free to do ur own research on her pics on google & let me know if u disagree.

i think we should be careful to categorize these import models in a negative light here, it's not like there aren't plenty other prospects in this tourney that have had their pics massively photoshopped or have a similar look to them... i know that's not ur intention but i think singling out these girls might cast them in a more negative light... i'll be happy to post some cameo shots of every prospect instead as long as everyone else agrees to do the same.

I definitely wasn't pointing her out broham. To me, any blind squirrel can see she's beautiful.

i agree w/u, she was a natural beauty like i pointed out in that matchup thread.

here's a pic of Jessica Alba that illustrates the same in terms of overboard rendering... that doesn't mean the girl herself isn't beautiful

here's one of Paz Vega... highly retouched.

skin by its very nature is flawed... the veins, blood flowing underneath, the birth marks, moles, freckles, scars, tattoos, or whatever other imperfections are routinely covered up by retouchers for shots that are printed in magazines & websites... cameo shots like the one eViL just posted of Rosario aren't, which is why these chicks always look better in studio shots than they do in paparazzi media shots.

from my experience retouching images for magazine ads & catalogs, i find that the most perfect skin is that of babies & children... as u age u get more & more imperfections in your skin tone, wrinkles start to appear, fat & cellulite in odd places begin with become more pronounced... baby skin hardly ever needs any retouching, only gotta take out the stray lint or dirt on the camera lens that shows up in high res shots for the most part.
