Phar, who called Gallo or anyone on the Knicks a star??? You're taking things out a little far, don't you think?

Just going on Nix's premise that Gallo has the potential to be a star and Chandler doesn't. Don't know how you determine it but he said because one thinks he can be one vs. the other who doesn't. Interesting logic don't you think specially if you believe in telepathy.

He doesn't speak for most of us.

I personally think they both have the talent, but they have a LOT of work to do and a big hill to climb if they want to be all stars. Wilson has a full season under his belt and he was impressive at times, and quite quiet at others. He has to be more consistent. Gallo has to stay on the court for a year or at least most of the year. We'll have to judge him in a year from now b/c nobody really has a clue. It's obvious he has some talent though, and it's more than shooting.

They are both on the same level as eachother though.

No, I'm done. I still like to hear your thoughts about Novak's upside though as a pure shooter in the league.

Novak's upside as a basketball player couldn't fit inside a rooster's jockstrap. catch the rest of my thoughts over at realgm.com LAC forums for that hot topic.

Steve Novak is like a modern day re-incarnation of Brad Lohaus

I think Steve Novak is being underrated here but that is just my opinion.

Papabear Says

We are known to throw our young under the bus to get someone else and then in a year or two we throw them under the bus. Thats why now one is coming to New York. The only deal we made was pay 3 mil for a 29th pic and fought over that amount to pay Marbs off. Players in the league see that and it turns them off. Look the way management treated Trevor Ariza. David Lee and Nate will leave New York and have great careers in the NBA and we will still be back here throwing people under the bus.

i met and hung out with matt bullard and brent price one time. matt is a great dude. we share the same alma mater, and we compared the girls on campus during my days there to his, then did a survey of all the girls we saw that night and how they would have ranked in both of our eras.

the amount of trim offered up to nba players on a consistent basis is just absolutely beyond comprehension. we should be totally amazed whenever any of these guys do NOT father kids out of wedlock.

LOL that's cool Marv. I think this sums up pretty well what NBA players are working with when it comes to pick of the litter: Marko Jaric married Adriana Lima.

Hey guys look at me, I'm so different! My ideas might seem crazy, but if you listen for 5 days I promise they'll make sense!

I think the fact that Gallo was the sixth pick in the draft has nothing to do with his value on the trade market. Teams can make a mistake at 6 and in my opinion that is what happened with the Knicks. There were alot of guys available who were not a reach or a risk at 6 that could have been taken. I think the Knicks have to hope Gallo turns out as good as Ryan Anderson. I wouldn't touch Gallo if I am Kahn as there will be guys who are better and are not risks who will be offered if Rubio becomes available.
