man, just imagine if Chandler was drafted by the Nets???? He'd be the next Kobe in the eyes of many around here and it would give the Thorn groupies another excuse to perform verbal fellatio on their man.

LOL. Yup.

The Answer Man Drops A Pop Quiz On Bippity (note: not a single comment about "most people")

1.) Have you ever dated outside your race?
Touched every continent except for Antartica(yes even Australia). Serious relationships, twice. My father is black. My mother is half black and half Native American. My step grandmother is Asian, my favorite aunt is hispanic. My parents divorced and my mother married a man from Kenya. My father married a crazy Korean lady who has ruined all good feelings I had for Asians . My father had 12 siblings. Our family reunion is peppered with people from every race on the planet. My wife is half Romanian and half Egyptian. Some people think she's black and some think she's white. Most don't know what she is. Some at our reunions hate her and want her out of the family and some have adopted her as their own daughter. I met her on the basketball court like I've met every other significant other that I grew close with. It seems that basketball transcends all the other unimportant relationship minutia.

2.) If so, do you know much of that that decision was based on cultural curiousity or Jungle Fever?
are you asking on my part or her part. On my part I met someone who had similar interests as me, I began to like her based on that. I was always open to dating anyone and everyone and never felt the need to consciously make any dating decisions based on superficial criteria, other than the size of her breasts and can she put the ball in the basket. Now, of course I love my mother to death so I always pictured marrying someone who looked and acted like her(in a manner of speaking of course. I did not want to date my mother). But I was also very open to meeting someone who wasn't like her as well. In the end of course some/most(sorry I know you despise these words) of my dating of other races was due to curiosity. I dated an Asian woman once simply because I never had before and the opportunity was there. But when it came to choosing a life mate, race was less of a factor.

3.) How much did he/she change your preconceived notion of a relationship?
Don't understand the question

4.) Did he/she open, close or blow your mind?
Every person that I meet and have a deep intimate relationship has helped to open my mind. If you are talking about race, then some of my preconceived notions were shattered and destroyed. Some where strengthened(whether true or untrue, some were strengthened. I have no shame in admitting that)

5.) If he/she opened your mind, was it temporary or permanent?
Of course permanent. How can your mind be opened temporarily?

6.) Did you eliminate all your preconceived notions?
As I mentioned above, which you obviously read, it is impossible to eliminate all preconceived notions.

9.) Was he/she a Knicks fan?
No, Celtics

10.) If not, did you leave them immediately and go watch the game?
No woman has ever come between me and the Knicks.

What is the point behind all this questioning?

Could she have possibly used her superior white intellect and coached your stupid azz to get all these damn buttons working on this site?

Bip, I have a little quiz of my own for you. Please answer it honestly:

1) Who was better at math. The Asian girl that you dated, or TMS?

2) Are you aware that you have balls for announcing to us that you once dated a Celtics fan and that MOST PEOPLE are offended by that?

3) What are your thoughts if I were to tell you that Arkrud was told by me that white people work harder than black people, when he was both stoned and drunk? I ingrained it in his head.

4) Do you realize that it's NOT bball IQ that allows you to stand around the perimeter and shoot jumpshots, as opposed to driving around the other defenders? It's b/c of low bball IQ that you don't utilize your god given athleticism and ball handing ability. Also, the fact that white people work harder and would have definitely taken advantage of this, b/c we're scrappy, has overtaken you.

5) Do you yet admit that Travis is pretty much locked in to be a Duke Blue Devil and his favorite players might very well be Christain Laetner?

Please answer very seriously. Thank you.

Tms has a slight edge, but they are both Asian so of course for me it doesn't matter. As long as someone does my homework.

2) Are you aware that you have balls for announcing to us that you once dated a Celtics fan and that MOST PEOPLE are offended by that?

I am aware of the wrath that I have probably brought upon myself. I know my actions are wrong, but cannot go back and change the mistakes that I made in my past. All I can do is ask for forgiveness.

3) What are your thoughts if I were to tell you that Arkrud was told by me that white people work harder than black people, when he was both stoned and drunk? I ingrained it in his head.

I would beleive it, you racist hatter.

4) Do you realize that it's NOT bball IQ that allows you to stand around the perimeter and shoot jumpshots, as opposed to driving around the other defenders? I realize all of this but of course my bbIQ is too low to make any changes.

5) Do you yet admit that Travis is pretty much locked in to be a Duke Blue Devil and his favorite players might very well be Christain Laetner?

I would disown him..........By the way, I will be coaching him this year for the first time. He has already asked me if the rest of his team will be any good. I told him that it is his responsibility to raise the level of his teammates.......Or I will kill him.

Anybody else got any questions?

Spoken like a true soccer mom. And since you asked, are you sure you're not a white, unemployed and living in a trailer park with your parents?

I don't know what this thread has to do with Wilson Chandler, but its one of the most informative threads we've had here in a while.

Random Observation Number 235

Chandler and Nate are not compatible

D'Antoni likes The Mayor a lot

Nate is gone

i wouldn’t be surprised.

nate's a great sparkplug/bench player, but he's probably worn out his welcome here and shown that he’s always going to be a high-maintenance player. it'll be interesting to see how they orchestrate his departure given the 2010 plans.

Marv - I think it is an issue of tone and substance.

Let's say Gallinari's back surgery solves his pain. His emotion will be embraced and his size will compliment Chandler. 6'10 and 6'8 is a nice start wherever they play on the floor. I don't care where.

You can either solve leadership guard or center, depending upon what is available. Note I did not insert a wet fantasy here.

Go for the guard and think another veteran. I'm not big on Nash's age but it could happen.

Go big and go Cole Aldrich.

That's four.

Now, just for kicks and giggles, forget about how much we adore David Lee and insert...

Chris Bosh.

Now, ask yourself... how much curiousity/ anticipation/ excitement could the Knicks generate with a Fave Five of:

Nash

Chandler

Gallinari

Aldrich

Bosh

The Replacement Killers

Marv - the best part is that lineup could happen, with just a few bounces going the right way.

Nash loves New York and already spends time here

Bosh would welcome the opportunity to screen test his engaging personality on Madison Avenue

and Aldrich is just one half-frozen ping pong ball away

The best part, this plan doesn't even require Donnie Walsh to break a sweat. It does not involve any lopsided "dreck for star" transactions or is it dependent upon something nutty like a total eclipse of the sun.

It could happen

Chandler is really benefiting from working with Alan Houston. What we have in Chandler is a burgeoning 6-8 athletic 2 guard who is developing a beautiful stroke. That is one reason I am very very interested to get either Derozan or Evans on this team. I believe if they work with Allan--either of them can be stars. Evans has a better handle Derozan elite athletic ability and both have the ability to shoot although they need tweaking--if Allan can help either of thos two the way he helped Wilson[remember he was hitting the side of the backboard with his J early last season and shot a low % at Depaul.]those guys are going to be great eventually.
