Adn the reason you like it so strict here is so that no one can ridicule you and your idiotic beliefs to roughly... it might hurt your feelings
If anyone knows of a SMART Knicks forum, with lots of activity, and minus people like PLAYA... holla at your boy.

Actually it doesn't matter if the board is moderated. Some of us can still bring the ruckus without being profane.

As for KVH, see how much of a superstar, all-star, or star he is tomorrow vs the Lakers. There are 72 games left. All this hooplah about last night will dissipate REAL quick within the next 48 hours. We beat the Celtics, OK. We are still 3-7. Only a fool (yeah, a FOOL) would beat their chest over that. IF we get to .500, then that will show an improvement that heads can say KVH contributed to. Till then, it's safe to say that we're on track to win 3 out of every 10 games, give or take a game. I'll be optimistic and say that we'll win 30-35 games this year. Let the KVH fanclub beat their chests over that.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

HARDCORE yes i do like KVH but he is not the reason for our record.. NONCHANEY !!!! He cost us the ORLANDO game & the PACER game !!!
thats 2 right there. That would make us 5-5.....LOL..
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

So are we 2 games under .500??? aren't we 3-7 right now? LMMFAO Come on, Snowman. I'd expect nonsense like that from Playa. Also, what about last night's game? If you can blame Chaney for those other games we lost, do u give him props for the ones (oh yeah, all THREE- wow, so many!) we won?

Well let him prove he can help get us to .500. He is in a constant state of having something to prove this year. Better yet, let's see what he proves in tomorrow's game.

How about this:

If I am wrong about my KVH predictions, I'll have no probs chowin' down on those crow-burgers. You can even come with me to the Lower East Side to witness it.

However, I seriously doubt that I will be wrong about this one. If we had more hard-nosed players then I would not have had so much of a problem with this cat on the team. But we need more of those rugged-type players and KVH just doesn't fit that mold IMO.

You want some "HOTSAUCE" with those crow burgers. LOL FOOL

I wouldn't call him a star yet. Stars play consistently and holds the biggest role on the team.

Van Horn needs to remain consistent @ all times. He needs to avg 19pts, 9.5 reb and shoot over 45pct on the floor. He needs to also show up during 4th quarters @ all times and become a major influence on the team.

KVH makes max money for the next 3 years bro. He is doing amazing for the last 3 games but the past has shown that he does not keep it up. If he does he will be worth that money but I doubt Zeke will take a chance on KVH if he can trade him.

Knicksbb10 - Those are pretty high standards - only three players in the entire league are averaging more then 19pts 9.5 rebs and over 45% shooting: Shaq, Duncan and Garnett. Not only are they all SUPER STARS - they don't play SF - where it's a little tougher to average 9.5 rebounds (though Garnett could).

If Zeke has any influence in helping KVH establish his game on a consistent basis may carry more credibility than any trade that can be had. KVH has the talent..... Its time to work from within

Why doesn't this surprise me? KVH is INCONSISTENT. We all know he has his flashes. He's having one now IMO.

Say the crap you're saying now next time he dries up. Notice how much of a gap there is in the dates between posts on this idiotic thread. Now here you are playing yourself like you did in your other thread. I love it.

Making you look foolish in an effortless task. You do it yourself!

That alone make the feeble potshots at me all the more impotent.

Suck on THAT, chump! LMMFAO!

While we're on the topics of stats and performance, let's take a step back, for a moment.

KVH has been hot, and has become arguably the first scoring option for the Knicks over the last 5 games (granted, the Knicks have been spreading the ball around really well). His numbers are up to 16.4 / 7.3. I think that as a Knick, he could potentially have a season where he comes close to 20 / 10. (though 20 / 8 is might more attainable) Keep in mind that Houston will inevitably slow down in the next 2 or 3 seasons and someone will have to take an extra two or three shots per game to compensate.

While not quite as talented, I bet by the end of the season KVH's numbers won't be too far off from those of Dirk Nowitzki's fallen numbers, which have come as a result of added frontcourt depth on Dallas. It's simply tough to score a lot of points consistently when playing within the team concept and spreading the ball.

As a note on the 19 / 9.5 "star" quota:
The league has lost a lot of perrenial 20-10 superstars in the last couple of years: David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Hakeem Olajuwon, Mourning, Barkley, Kemp all come to mind. Others who have done it before or close (Coleman, Baker, Gugliotta, Howard) are shadows of their former selves.

A couple of young guys who might also be making the list: Jermaine O'Neal, Zach Randolph, and Elton Brand... (I don't know their FG%) Also Dirk Nowitzki is also right around that level, and Antoine Walker is nudging his way up

who brought this thread back? did'nt we already established than kvh is not a star? he is a decent player but he is very inconsistent. stars do not get benched in the fourth quarter when healthy. stars take over games when playing against GOOD competition, not when guarded by the likes of mike miller, rasual butler and drew gooden. like is said, come to me when he can do that against teams like the spurs, lakers or even the nets.
