let me repeat the Cavs are 9-0 at home this year with an average margin of victory of 17.8ppg. what did any of you think was going to happen when we walk into Cleveland with 8 healthy guys and two of them are Malik and Roberson? what are you guys thinking? we were gonna steal this one?

be real. have patience. Nate and Jefferies back within the week, maybe Cuttino if we're lucky.

I wasn't expecting much and I'm not complaining but maybe some people expected the team to show up and try a little harder.

As far as I'm concered, we're one game closer to a better draft pick.

The problem I have with it do you trust management on how they will use that draft pick.

I have a huge problem with that based on the stiff sitting on the bench but the hope is that the pick is so obvious that even they can't mess it up.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

no one should take too much from this game. wait until we have Nate and Jefferies and the new guys have a few practices under their belt. second night of a back to back on the road with 7 guys against the best team in the east? what did people expect?

Well the gamepickers says that I was expecting a loss by greater than 15 points.

omg, that's amazing. good call. that's what mine says, too. so why are people acting surprised that an undermanned knicks team can't compete against the best team in the east on the road in the second night of a back to back?

Mine says they win by five, so that gives me the right to bitch about the game?

BTW, I forgot to change it in time...

you forgot to change it in time? when did you make the pick? 2002?

Made it once it was available to do it, so it probably was before Nate went down. I update them close to the game or on game day, but today was a busy day. Anyway...

i'm sorry, i was just kidding. but i don't think we've won in cleveland since lebron showed up. maybe once.

I know, I didn't expect them to win. But losing by almost 40 when the main reason is we don't have enough players really makes me so angry. I can handle a game like yesterday's because they fought hard, but this games are so tough and the main reason for getting blown out is because the few players we have are too tired.

that's what i'm saying. but have no illusions, if lebron were on our side of the ball and everything else was the same we'd be winning by 40.

Ouch, lol.

Whatever. I can take 38 point losses now that we are no longer capped out with no future.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Having more prospects, especially a C, would help ease the pain a lil...

you guys know D'Antoni is opposed to traditional centers, right? we're not gonna have a center here. Bosh would be his ideal center.

Maybe but I'm not giving up yet.....Knicks aren't at full strength....with Cuttino and Nate deleting Q-rich and Roberson.....then Jared giving Lee a much needed breather.....Knicks will be good enough to get a couple streaks going......I'm not talking about Jerome's undewear either.

Wouldn't be bad to have a C prospect ala Bosh, even if he isn't the traditional C. Just would be nice to have a prospect taller than 6'10 and defensive minded to be the future in the middle for us, even if he then moves to the bench when/if we sign Bosh.

We can't stop and wait 'til Lebron and Bosh sign. We still have to do our homework and get players that can help us compete and be part of the future.

We'll see. Cuttino is a huge if at this point. But we'll certainly be better with Nate and Jeffries. How much that turns in wins against good teams remains to be seen.
