Yeah, according to TKB, take it for what it's worth, but apparently talks are done for the day.
So it’s been a crazy day and what we can tell you is that Donnie Walsh has been actively trying to put his stamp on the franchise with the hopes of pushing towards 2010.

So he made the Al Harrington for Jamal Crawford swap, and in the process made a huge step in getting under the cap. That in itself was an excellent move for this franchise based on the fact that Crawford had fallen out of favor with Mike D’Antoni starting in preseason and ending in Boston the other night.

It seems that no other deals will take place to day, as it appears, at least for today, that they’ve stepped away from the table.

This is not to say that the talks are dead, just don’t expect any deals today.

That leaves the question: what do the Knicks do with Marbury? We were told he was being activated, but if talks are done for today, does that mean Steph jumps into uniform?

It's probably not going to happen. I guess you might want to write a script fo posters where you can select which thread you want to start. Either a "In 2010..." or a "Wilson Chandler..." or a "2009 NBA draft..." or a "Wait, what pick does NYK owe Utah?"

Our plan is for 2010. Not to try to build a winner on the shoulders of two inefficient chuckers!

Meanwhile, I bet Harrington and Mobley's stats increase - and - the other missing points - go to Nate and Chandler.

We're going to be fine! Don't let 6-5 start fool you, it's not a realistic measurement of this team given who we faced.

We were a ~.500 team with Craw/Zach and we are a ~.500 team with Harrington/Mobley/TT

The New York Knicks have agreed in principle to send power forward Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, two league sources said Friday afternoon.

The Clippers would send Tim Thomas and another player who’s still unclear —- Marcus Camby or Cuttino Mobley – to the Knicks for Randolph and guard Mardy Collins.

After trading Jamal Crawford to the Golden State Warriors for Al Harrington on Friday morning, the Knicks would’ve cleared approximately $27 million in salary cap space for the summer of 2010 when their obsession, Cleveland’s LeBron James, can become a free agent.

Randolph will be making $17.3 million and Crawford, $10.1 million, in 2010. For the Knicks, this would create significant flexibility as that historic free agent class of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh hits the market.
