WTF Craw? He can't even break down 40 yr old Allen off the dribble. He looks lost tonight...
He trys too much 1-on-1 razzle dazzle with the ball that's just unnecessary (always has). Just put it on the floor and get to the rim/get to the FT line. Enough of the nonsense. Start playing like you got some balls. They crowd this cat and take away his jumper and he just folds....

Randolph has taken 10 shots and connected on 3 and nobody talks about this. Randolph and Crawford are essentially the same player except Randolph is taller and can rebound the ball.
Randolph's putting up 21 & 13 so far. He played great. Having on off night like you've pointed out so far but he's out there doing his thing - getting his shots in rhythm and playing hard underneath. Craw (and he's had a good yr. too so I don't want to go too crazy) is the one that can be doing so much more to help this club and just doesn't. That's the difference between the two.
He is shooting 43% on the season. For a big man that's pretty bad. He has to take 20+ shots to score 20 points. He is a good/great rebounder but besides that he is inefficient. His impact on the game is minimal, especially since he is out on the preimeter half the game.
Sorry I just don't agree. Zach's had a tremendous impact in almost every game this season so far. He's put up 8 straight double-doubles. Gotta go back to Pat Ewing Sr. for the last guy who's done that. Didn't play great in the blowout at Philly and came up a little small against Duncan at the Spurs but otherwise he's been great. All-star type impact. You can't possibly expect anything more than what this guy's giving you...
Crawford, who's off to the hot start shooting the ball this year, is the one who I expect much more from. He continuely forces jumpers (and he's made quite a few so far) when he can get better shots. Remember the San Antonio game? He was the only one who put up some consistent points in that game but that game was all fool's gold if you ask me - Kept forcing shots against Bowen who was right up on him and even though he made most of them that night, let's be honest, those aren't good shots. No that those shots aren't falling and guys are making the effort to completely take that away from you, what are you gonna do? That's what bothers me the most about him. You crowd Kobe and he's going right around you, right to the rim for a score. It's not like Craw can't do it (you mean to tell me he can't get past Ray Allen? Come on) - he just won't do it. Even Zach mixes it up - he'll take his fair share of jumpers but then he'll eventually get his ass down low and give you the points in the paint that they expect.
Bottom line is that Randolph's giving me all that I expect, probably a little more. Crawford, on the other hand, can be so much more than what he is. I expect so much more out of this guy and year after year, he continues to come up short. It's dissapointing - I'm surprised some of you don't see it the same way...
