Griffin, Jennings, Derozan, Mullens or Thabeet would all be awesome choices in this year's draft... after the trades we just pulled off we might just have a realistic shot at getting 1 of them.

We're definitely getting a solid player in this year's draft. Just as long as BigC said, the team stays away from drafting MDA's gardener's second cousin

Stephan Curry COULD be a Nick Van Excel type if he gets quicker.

He is like a 6-2 H20. Great fundamentals and stroke. The talent is there, and he works hard but he might not be quick or strong enough to be an effective NBA player.

He is no lotto pick.

Nick Van Exel had ridiculous moves and could get a shot off against anyone and he played for one of the best programs.

A 6'2" Houston equals an Eddie House type of player.

oohah

Eddie House and Juan dixon or anyone else that has been mentioned here never had games like Curry has tonight. 30 points 13 assists. 3 out of the 4 games this year he put up 10 assists in a game. He's going to end up the first guard taken in the draft and if not I hope were *unlucky enough to have him fall to us.

I want Ricky Rubio if the Knicks get a chance on a top draft pick. Will he declare for this draft or for next years'?

Eddie House scored over 60 in a game. Brent Price scored over 60 in a game. There are plenty of guards who have had much better careers than Curry will have who have fizzled out in the NBA or just became regular NBA players. Maybe he becomes a star in the NBA. I doubt it. But believe what you want. Ignore history. No surprise there. And then you'll conveniently never remember how you gushed, just like the great Marcus Williams.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

NBA draft net doesn't have him listed so my guess is he's more likely for next year's draft... we don't have a pick so no use in thinking about him at this point unless things change before this year's draft.

They have him on 2010 draft, but Ive read many people say that he would be pick #1 in this year's draft. Sometimes this players aren't in the radar until weeks before the draft so who knows. But one thing is certain, this guy would take D'Antoni's system to a whole new level all by himself. He is amazing and deserves to play on a system that maximizes his talent, like ours.

HE would definitely be a star draft pick.

he won't be 19 before the draft this year so i dunno if he's even eligible... not sure how it works for international prospects tho.

You can say whatever you want. I'm sure--well I'm not sure the Knicks get it--but other teams sure will. He's proving adaptability and skill to PG and he's doing it in a big time way. I would pick him 2 in the draft.

Not fair to talk about an injured player like that, and less when its known he does have talent but just needs to recover to show it. Let the rooster recover and then we can talk about comparisons.

It's fair. If the guy was 110% healthy he does not have the physical ability to do it. Let's face it--right now the pick is a nightmare of monumental proportions with what has transpired at this POINT. I hope for the Knicks that he can atleast come back and we can good signs within 2 months. All I ask for is health and a glimpse that he can be good. We shouldve taken Randolph Mcgee Lopez or Bayless but thats just to bad--we had to go with the fancy pick.

I though Thabeet was the #1 player? Man you can't stop filp-floppin'

How about this: name your picks and stick to them...I know it is crazy!

By the way, I put Thabeet as my #1. I think Griffin is not nearly as good as people think. Nice player, yes. The new Amare Stoudemire, no.

Thats overreacting at this point. If he can't come back and play, then we talk about it being a nightmare of monumental proportions. Until then he remains a young player with a lot of potential, even to surpass those "amazing numbers" that Anthony Randolph got. Heck, I don't care if he has those numbers, the Knicks certainly drafted him because they see him at some position bringing some kind of production. The most important thing for him is to be healthy and once he does people will see he is a valuable piece for us.

Sure, he's a better athelete than The Rooster. We all knew this heading into the draft. What we also know is that The Rooster is a better shooter than Randolph and his ability shows up in the intangible, his ability to knock down big shot. Don't let your knee tear a hole through your desk.

Thabeet is a lock top 5 player. He is in the circle of 5. I don't think he will go 1 but I would doubt he will last past 5. Uconn might have another lottery pick for this year named Kemba Walker who looks like a taller TJ Ford.

Stop triple-talking BRIGGS. I am not talking about the draft's top 5, I am talking about your top 5 (Or whatever, it doesn't have to be 5).

Name 'em and stick to them. You can wait until after the college season if you like, but for once stick to what you say!!!!
