He has potential to be Amare based on what exactly? An alley-oop dunk against the Knicks? He has played 3 games and showed little to nothing. Danilo Gallinari has missed 3 months and barely played for the Knicks. Unless you are Ms. Cleo and can see the future, you cannot make any type of judgement on anyone for at least a couple of years.

Oh I'm sorry I thought Gallinari is suited up and the back isn't an issue. So you let me know when I can start to judge Gallinari because I can't tell now. 1 year from now, 2 years, 3 years. He hasn't play basketball for 3 months but somehow McGee played more games during that period. I thought Gallinari was at training camp, my mistake. I thought he was practicing with the team. My mistake.

JaVale McGee's got nice size and athleticism but in a word...RAW. Very raw. If we would've drafted this kid 6th and he showed what he's showing now, that he's not ready, our impatient fanbase would've buried Walsh... I like him though. He's got a lot of work to do but we saw some flashes in this first half..

What? McGee played how many minutes in the 1st half on a playoff team from last year. How many games has Gallinari played so far? Your post is a do not look at that guy Knick fans because he is Amare reminder how bad we may have just ****ed up.

Did you just call McGee Amare?

No but it has a potential to be a damn we could have had that guy draft as I watch rookie after rookie take it to the Knicks while their rookie is still talking about pain down his legs. Now we have posters trying to explain it all away. No we had to trade for McD... I mean draft Gallinari.

WTF? He showed flashes of some nice play - that's what I said. But come on bro, he's far far from a finished product. Come on bro, you know the fickle Garden Crowd - collectively we are not patient fans. The two missed dunks, the fumbled rebound out of bounds, the bricks at the FT line... The Garden fans would have killed the poor kid in that 10 min. stretch alone and if you don't think that's the reality of the situation, think again.

Myself, clearly I recognize the ability and I would've supported him...

Speak english and not in code. Make sense because you clearly don't. Calling a 20 year old kid who has been unable to play the entire summer due to injury issues a bust after 3 games is pretty retarded if you ask me. VERY retarded actually. Stop the nonsense.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Bingo you just heard Gus say exactly what I'm saying...

Still, he's very active, chanllenging shots... I like the kid myself.

McGee really having a nice run in this 3rd quarter. Blocks, running the court for alley oops....he's gonna be good.

Mcgee is the only reason the wiz are in the game.. His height and ability is sick.. He can get over the rim as high as dwight howard.. Just does not posess dwights superhuman strength.. LOL

Chandler has played some good defense on Jamison. Nice call by D'Antoni.

This Wizards team is terrible. It says a lot that this is such a close game. They are a mess without Arenas.

Amazing how a little bit of size completely neutralizes David Lee. This is the worst I think I've every seen him play. He's have zero impact out there....

But no one asked you but nevertheless. Where did I state in my post that Gallinari was a bust. I will say if he can't ever play or play effectively because of an injury then he would be a bust. As I said you let me know when I should gauge him like anybody else.
