Lol. Nice to see that MS has stepped into the role of "the one guy who dares to knock Obama". I got tired of being the only guy versus the entire rest of the forum. Dont even waste your breath kid, all your hear is different variations of

1. you dont know the facts
2. you are uninformed
3. your values are misguided
4. youre a ****ing idiot
5. you have no views of your own, but are simply repeating what you heard on Fox News, Hannity, Oreilly, etc.

Of course, everybody else on this site besides you will be

1.Educated and with full knowledge of the facts
2.Informed
3.have a value set that is beyond reproach
4.Not repeating what they have saw on TV or read on a Blog, in fact they were simply born knowing more than you, a lowly brainwashed fool who caqn only repeat what you saw on TV.

Dont even waste your breath, debating politics with the people here is a complete waste of your time and effort.

But kudos for trying kid!

Your posts are pure trash, plain and simple. You post nonsense fox news/rnc talking points. You get debunked by someone who posts multiple links to multiple sources (not just left-leaning sources) to debunk your nonsense. You hide for 3-4 days. Then come back and completely ignore how you got pwned on your last point and throw up more garabage like the garbage listed above this post.

One man, one vote

Powell is voting for Obama because as an international diplomat, Pwell recognizes one simple, undeniable fact that drives bigots like Limbaugh and Hannity crazy.

Powell and Obama both excelled in their formal training. Obama at Harvard and Powell at Howard University. They are both members of an educated elite that the mediocre love to diss. "hey I can't have a beer with that guy, I'd rather have a beer with George Bush because he's one of US".

But that's cool.

Royalty recognizes royalty - ergo the reason world leaders and the international community welcome Obama with open arms.

The reason Obama has Powell's single vote is undeniable:

Barack Obama is more intelligent than John McCain

The concise phrase Powell used on Meet The Press to describe what Obama brings to the table was, "intellectual dignity".

Perfect.

End Of Story

Nicely sad but Powell is a graduate of City College.

In Powell's day City College was considered to be an excellent institution of higher learning on par with the best colleges in this country.

garbage. bush and clinton did nothing for the economy, good or bad. what we're going through right now is the result of a natural cycle of ups and downs. this is a trimming up of the excess fat in our economy. and still, I don't understand why this doesn't get moved. if this was a post supporting McCain, it would be in OT in a second; but because it's obama and because it's colin powell and they're both black, this is deemed 'too important' to move. gimme a break.

Although he left I feel compelled to respond. Reagen term ends in a financial banking crisis and a wall street collapse. Bush 1 ends in recession. Bush 2 ends in a banking financial crisis, a recession, and a wall street crash and doubling the national debt.

Clinton ends with a surplus, a great economy, payment AGAINST THE DEBT, and people thinking they were going to be millionaires leaving college.

But conservatives live in a fairy land where their financial ideas are somehow "better" for America and "socialist" tax and spend liberals hurt the economy. Yet, the proof somehow eludes them. It's yet another lie they reveal in.

Errata

I had a feeling it was one of those DC Universities

Powell received a Master of Business Administration degree from George Washington University.

Where did McCain and Palin rank in their (cough) higher education again?

It's unreal everyone is all over fox news, but what other networks actually don't have conservatives or republicans on air. Most other networks are far reaching left. Does Fox lean towards the right, yes.

But the mere fact is that anytime anyone opposes Obama, they are called racist they are called ignorant, opposed to change etc. You can't even list the facts. Powell is upset with the Bush administration and rightfully so. But to say that Obama would be better with foreign relations is just laughable. I have all the respect in the world for powell. But if four out of the past five secretary of states are are for McCain it says something. Biden is not strong on foreign policy, he has been wrong time and time again, and gets a pass because of Palin. How many off the cusp stupid comments is this man going to make, this guy bumbles more facts than anyone out there. Obama has no experience on foreign policy, zero.

Spending is going to be increased, taxes are going to be raised, I just don't understand how everyone believes that Obama is going to come in and cut wasteful spending and make the world a better place for the working class. He has no record of doing anything and saying that isn't taking a shot at the guy it's a fact.

Please support this. I know for a fact that 3 out of the last 4 Secetaries of State support Obama.

Clinton had no experience in foreign policy either, yet was 1000 times better than Reagan, Bush I and Bush II. Experience isnt a prereq for being a good diplomat, thats been proven.

and I dont hate McCain. I thought he would have been an excellent president post Clinton but he got totally screwed by his own party.

I oppose him now because his economic policies are GW part II
Because he's older than his father, has health issues and Palin is a right wing uncultured religious zealot.
Also I feel strongly about maintaining status quo on abortion rights and that things like gay marriage and domestic partnerships are NOT a threat to traditional marriage and those people should have similar rights. If McCain is elected he will appoint conservative judges that will overturn roe v wade, etc

Just because someone has no record of doing something does not mean they cannot do it. I have watched McCain's erractic behavior and hate-mongering campaign tactics over the past 4 weeks and to me, that is not leadership. That is the same old politics and is unpresidential. For Colin Powell to break with his party and support Obama says alot to me about how ready Obama is to lead this nation. Obama is smarter than McCain, more open-minded, more educated in many areas as opposed to McCain's expertise solely in military matters, more articulate, more respected by foreign leaders, a more unifying figure, more concerned about the welfare of the middle class, and calmer in a crisis. Most people would rather take their chances with the Harvard grad over the guy that managed to finish almost deadlast in his class in dealing with the complex issues the next president will face.

Regarding Fox News, what I want to know is who decided to call Fox News, Fox News. It should be called the Fox Republcan Spin Channel. These guys call themselves unbiased but whenever they have someone on for the democratic perspective, they don't even let the person talk. I watch it every now and then to see what the conservatives of hearing and I swear, it was like they would let the republican commentator just go on forever but when the democratic representative tried to say anything, the anchor would interrupt after only a few seconds and ask a pointed question. Many times they don't even bother to have a democratic representative. Fox No-News is a joke.

That's what is so amusing. Everyone ****s all over fox news. The media is so left, no one seems to bring it up they just bitch about fox news

Lets just go over a few things for the Democrats on this board

Four former secretaries of state announced Tuesday they are endorsing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president, providing his campaign with a needed boost.

Henry Kissinger, retired Gen. Alexander Haig, Lawrence Eagleburger and George Shultz all said they would support McCain. The former heads of the State Department said the senator’s leadership skills, his record and his vision make him the right choice for president in difficult times.

“The world’s challenges are radically changing and our country needs John McCain’s experience and optimism,” said Kissinger, who served as secretary of state from 1973 to 1977 and won a Nobel Prize for his efforts to end the Vietnam War.

Pharzeone you know for a fact that they support Obama??????

This is what makes Powell coming out and supporting Obama curious......

AND THE MEDIA SHITS ON PALIN ON A DAILY BASIS, BLAMES MCCAIN FOR THE PROBLEMS OF THE ECONOMY WHILE NEVER LOOKING AT BIDEN who is supposed to be strong on foreign policy

Why is it that it doesn't make news when he says the following "Mark my words it's not going to be six months before the world tests Obama like they did with JFK"?

Everyone is quick to make fun of Palin, but lets go over Biden

1. Saying he went to a restaurant in his home town recently talking to main street during the debate, that restuarant has been closed for 20 years
2. Decalaring he has three words for the American people J-O-B-S
3. Talking about the stock market crashing saying FDR went on tv to talk about the greed in the country, tv had not yet been invented.
4. Saying Hilary is more ready to be vp, how long has this guy been in the senate
5. Saying a year ago that Obama is not ready to be President

His gaffes are endless but you don't hear about them, and god forbid anyone says something about Obama. Joe the ****ing plumber has been disected, Obama and Biden have not..

People are a little to dismissive

Biden the man for the middle class earning Bush tax cuts ""Biden gave average of $369 to charity a year""

MS, your original statement was this...
But if four out of the past five secretary of states are are for McCain it says something

My unofficial list of the past 5 secretaries of state is:

Frank G. Wisner
Warren Minor Christopher
Madeleine Korbel Albright
Colin Luther Powell
Condoleezza Rice

We know Powell endorsed Obama. Why is your list different from this one? Please explain.

No Country For Old Men

MS - do you really think Sarah Palin has the intellectual capacity, analytical skills and precise judgement to be one step from the most powerful seat in The Oval Office?

The high schoolers yawning behind McCain at his so-called "rally" in New Hampshire this morning were priceless.

Better hire some new stand-ins.
