The only problem of DT's offense is that the Knicks are not a good 3 point shooting team.

There are many problems with D'Antoni offense on this team but yeah that's a huge one. One thing we have learned. He is trying to force players to adjust to him vs. him adjusting to his players. That's where is limited as a coach. Riley was able to adjust and win. I don't see D'Antoni doing that.

While I agree with your premise, I must say.. Why does it matter if he is making this team adjust to him? 90% of these players aren't going to be here for the long haul and this team had no chance of winning anything this year as constructed anyway. So really, why does it matter?

Because I am under the impression and it's my belief that neither is D'Antoni. The losing will get to him and Dolan. Then you're back to square one again. Instead of trying to maximize what he has, he will oppose their flaws even more.
MDA can and will succeed as long as he and Walsh stick to their plan to build a team according to what they believe will win. You can't look at the team as currently constructed and try to extrapolate that over the coarse of 4 years. Too much can change for you to be able to have that kind of pessimistic outlook.

MDA is a winner as is Walsh and usually guys with that pedigree find a way to succeed or perhaps you have a better management team in mind that we could've gotten?

I like our yoots...

This Mayor might actually get me to support the notion of the 3rd term...

Lee's jumper is dropping...

neither of them have missed much..

Duhon...what's the deal?

What are the chances Nate becomes the starting PG by mid-season?

We are getting open looks just not enough dudes hitting their shots.

Z-Bo not so bad either...

Malik getting real burn...wow...

The defensive intensity already seems much better than last year.

I'm impressed with Chandler's ability to contest shots, and Z-Bo has actually been playing D!

Not sure what's gonna happen with Marbury...

I like the new offense A LOT more than anything I've seen from the Knicks in years.

It's the first preseason game, some will look good, some will look bad and some are confused. A one week training camp is not enough time to develop any chemistry and learn a new offense.

I saw him pass the ball a few times instead of forcing a shot.

I look forward to mid season and seeing what this team looks like then. This is just the beginning for this team and better days are ahead if they keep working and listening to MDA.

Man, you ALMOST have to give Isiah credit for the picks of Nate, Lee and Chandler.

These guys might be our future, either here, or helping net us the superstar we still need.

He kind of blew it on Frye, and I admit I fell for it, although he's not so bad, but he was the only lotto pick of the lot.

These three wern't just not in the lotto they were late 1st rounders.

Lee, Chandler and Nate were picked 21st, 30th, 23rd, respectively.

Many were mad about the Balkster trade, and he didn't suck either.

Collins is the most questionable as an NBA player, but has shown some signs here and there. Both he and Balkman's problems with shooting is their major downside.

I doubt most will concede this, and the other side of the coin, is imagine if Isiah had just kept our picks. I know pretty much everyone has some kind of hate for the man, but I can kind of see why they asked him to become a scout. Probably a ridiculously overpaid one, at that, but maybe he has done reasonably well in the draft with very low picks.

Lee and Randolph played well together last year too. Curry is the problem.

You can throw in Ariza, who is fast becoming one Jackson's favorites in LA. I don't think people really have a problem with Thomas' drafting, just his foolish deals. Like I said though he was better at deals in Toronto. The only thing that worries me is that he pick up alot of his bad habits in Indiana. Take a look at Walsh's moves and talk to Bird and you really begin to worry.

I've always liked our young talent and I've felt that they just lacked a committed and capable coach. We've had a capable coach in LB, but he wasn't committed to the players on the roster. He had another Agenda. We had a committed Coach in Isiah but he wasn't capable and in his 2nd year he was no longer committed and just gave up on the team.

Lee: 30 min 8-10 fg, 4-4 ft, 20 pts 9 rbs 2 assts, 1 stl, 0 to
Chandler: 23 min 6-12 fg, 15 pts 6 rbs, 1 stl, 0 to

4949,cmon man, I think things are looking up as well, but let's be real, this is the 1st preseason game. Predictions don't start to come true after 1 PRE-SEASON game.
