I dont know what to tell you. Again I havent seen the level of negative rhetoric from the Obama camp and base, that I have seen from the other side.

Clinton supporters need to grow up and stop being such sore losers. I'm talking about the reasonable, yet overly emotional ones. The racist ones can fall on something sharp for all I care.

Great post. About a third of the country will vote Republican and a third Democrat no matter what. They will spin every issue in favor of their candidate. There is no point in even arguing with them.

I think you've illustrated why Clinton backers act the way they do. It's not Obama, but his supporters. You guys split. Obama is the next coming of MLK, Gandhi Jesus and Buddha. Anyone who opposes him is a racist, ignorant manipulative jerk off. It'a amazing, you look at the sites like the DailyKos (and UK) and see people who probably once were eating out of her hand totally trashing Clinton because she's running against Obama.

Here's the Rev. Michael Pflegen showing class. He's the reason obama finally had to quit his church. And you have to agree, doesn't help his cause at all. People laugh at this, but this is pretty offensive to many. I think it's stuff like this that set the woman off in the above video.

Yeah right. I'm sure there is some sort of excuse for her racism. There always is an excuse when it comes to Hillary and her supporters. Pfleger was pretty much spot on in his analysis. He's a good man. I love how white people try to act like they have been the ones victimized by racism and oppression all these years.

Anyway, this is a comment by one man loosely associated with Obama. I didnt see Hagee being so closely associated with McCain even though McCain sought out his endorsement. In any event, the emphasis on meaningless wedge issues like this and typical divisiveness are some of the reasons why this country is in such a serious rut.

Whatever happened to the economy and Iraq?

Supporters are always enthusiastic about their candidate and derogatory toward others. That's nothing new here. That's a poor reason to base one's attitude toward the candidate on. The candidate, not his supporters, are running for office.

I highlighted hated comments. I don't care who made them. I would of highlighted anyones hated comments. I was trying to point out the unnecessary hatred that's been going on out there. I didn't get nasty with anyone and tried to be fair in my comments and tried to speak reasonably.

Facts? The fact that Im conservative is proof enough that Mccain is the best candidate for me and the America that I envision. I mean we're not debating two candidates with similar ideas. Im a pro-life, pro-Iraq, conservative who opposes gun control, high taxes, government handouts, etc. These are issues that are important to me. So the best candidate for me is Mccain. I dont see what points there are to make, or facts to debate. What I dont appreciate is when people like Silverfuel imply that because you are either conservative or liberal that youre stupid or uninformed. I mean is there any chance a liberal will vote for Mccain? Is there any chance that a conservative will vote for Obama? Not likely.

Social conservatives counting on McCain to return the nation to the path of righteousness are kidding themselves. Within this camp, abortion has long been the flagship issue. Yet only a naïf would believe that today’s Republican Party has any real interest in overturning Roe v. Wade or that doing so now would contribute in any meaningful way to the restoration of “family values.” GOP support for such values is akin to the Democratic Party’s professed devotion to the “working poor”: each is a ploy to get votes, trotted out seasonally, quickly forgotten once the polls close.

But this much we can say for certain: electing John McCain guarantees the perpetuation of war. The nation’s heedless march toward empire will continue. So, too, inevitably, will its embrace of Leviathan. Whether snoozing in front of their TVs or cheering on the troops, the American people will remain oblivious to the fate that awaits them.

For conservatives, Obama represents a sliver of hope. McCain represents none at all. The choice turns out to be an easy one.
