Ridding the Knicks of Sprewell has been a priority for Layden ever since Sprewell reminded the world for the millionth time last fall that he is, and always will be, completely incapable of recognizing rules, respecting bosses, living professional life in complete good faith. Fans were always blinded by Sprewell's passion, by his boundless basketball energy. But it came at a price; Sprewell always has provided just as many headaches as thrills.

There is also this inescapable truth: Sprewell simply is not the player he was five years ago, or even two years ago. As he nears his 33rd birthday, the weapons that always made him such a unique force have regressed. He is no longer the quickest man on the floor, the fastest man on the floor. He can be in flashes, in starts and stops. But as he gets older, as a decade in The League begins to take a lasting toll, those patches of brilliance will arrive in shorter and shorter bursts.
Van Horn did disappear against the Lakers in last year's Finals, he also helped deliver the Nets into them by hitting the 3-pointer that beat the Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Finals that year. Give him a chance we gave "SPREE" one.
Dude what doing? You have to credit the source man! YOui lifted this straigt out of the NY post and acted like it's yours. Damn.

I'm not a big fan of this Spree trade and KVH. One thing that will make this trade acceptable is if the Knicks can unload some of the bloated contracts from the roster like Eisley, Anderson and Spoon. If they can get KVH who I don't care for much along with Hudson than it would be acceptable to get KVH. For me Hudson needs to be traded from the Wolves to make this deal work and they have to take back Eisley, Anderson or spoon in return.

i have been posting with playa since 98, the guy cuts and paste articles and tries to pass it on his own like me and you drink water. i guess he thinks he is Al gore maybe he thinks he invented the internet and we got no access to the same articles.

playa used to love sprewell, used to be playa favorite guy until sprewell said the magic words "I support coach gundy"

So nothing he says is objectional.

Yeah I had to pull his card on that copy-paste crap. He let the air outta his own argument by doing that. I see him get shut down all the time on here. LOL

Yeah we do see eye-2-eye on alot of points. A clear view of reality is a rarity nowadays. I am glad to not be alone.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Actually, I've been kind of peeved at Chucky (that's my nickname for Playa, Harcore) for some time now simply because he's never cut-and-pasted a post of mine anywhere else (some of the stuff he posts here, HC, comes from nybasketball.com).

Makes me feel like he doesn't respect my opinion enuff to flaunt it elsewhere as his own!

Hmmm... Thanks for the heads-up, necrom.

So Chucky aka Playa co-opts his posts from NYBasketball.com too? I'll check there when I see anything from him that sounds intelligent.
