4949, the sad thing is you still don't get the point of my argument.
As I said before, I agree that we need to tank. I've said all along that we need a high draft pick. The thing is, I don't think teams like the Heat, who have two star players in Marion and Wade, should be able to get away with what they are doing. I realize that what I say sounds contradictory, but I don't think teams with star players should be allowed to tank just to avoid being the 9th or 10th best team in the East.
Personally, I think a team has to at least be bad to consider tanking. The Heat have had a bad season, but after getting Marion, there is no reason to think they are nearly as bad as any of the other lotto teams. Being a Knick fan and hating the Heat for all these years (yes I am biased in this case), I hate that they are likely going to end up with a top 3 pick.
I don't know why you keep bringing up the Knicks because I even said before, that I think the Knicks should tank. There is nothing to argue about there.

And I only complimented the Heat for doing the right thing. Something the Knicks should be doing. Why in the hell did Thomas leave Zach and Crawford in for full minutes, when we could have easily lost that game? That was really stupid of Thomas. Crawford and Zach obviously had to play their game. It would be too obvious if they didn't and looked like they where tanking. That's why he should've put Morris and Collins in their place and left it at that.
The Heat did it the right way. They didn't play their stars (and they have a right not to) so why didn't isiah do the same type of thing. It's a very logical thing to do and deserves criticism because bone head blew it.
I'm not sure what to make of your criticism of my saying Miami did it the right way. They did! There's no question about it. The Knicks had a real chance to tank and they blew it. My only guess is, is that Thomas is trying to get 24 wins, instead of getting better draft position. But if you see that he probably isn't going to be here much longer, why should he care?
This is a real ****ty catch 22, because the players realize it, if they want a better draft position, then they'll put least effort and isiah put in veterans to try and get that 24, so he's not the all-time laughing stock of the Knicks.
It's not about isiah anymore. He's finished, whether he's still here or not. It's about having a real chance of getting a top' pick and what we have to do to get it. I'm not gonna sit and complain about what Miami does. I'm gonna complain if we don't get that chance and we are very close to having a chance at the #1, or #2 if these guys can rebel enough against isiah's lack luster attitude and neglegence to sieze the moment. Didn't isiah himself say recently that he's never left a locker room where a player didn't where that uniform to win? Well' he should apply that to the obvious. We suck and this is a rare chance to get a top pick, because there is nothing else to look forward to right now. I say go for it and screw isiah's reputation.
Damn right MIami's tanking. And we should be also. This is what happens when your at the bottom. Take what you can get. Don't cry about the other teams.
I'll never trust this' team again.
