You guys are the kind of fans dolan loves.

F--- Dolan. It has nothing to do with him.

$$$$$$$$$$$It has everything to do with this and that's where dolan comes into the picture and what isiah used to make this mess with. dolan may not care too much about the money, but I do think he gets humiliated because of the moves.

I was talking about me being a fan, not the Knicks losing. Of course James Dolan is part of the problem. But I don't really give a crap about whether Cablevision makes money or loses money. Apparently, he doesn't either. He is a coke head. I am not sure he even likes basketball.

And, I don't care whether James Dolan loves me or hates me. And don't get me wrong. I am in pain watching this team screw up year after year. But I still watch, looking for something to hope for next year. We all know something ain't right. It's just how long til we can make it work. I hope it ends with Marbury's tenure in NY. I really do.

You know I gonna spin wit it

HAHA!! I can't believe my comment spurred so much argument. That was awesome. Anyway, I've been a lifelong Knicks fan and I ain't changing, but I still stand by what I said. I think it's funny when people trump their blind support of the Knicks organization as if it makes them better fans. People can be fans however they want to be fans, but don't tell me that you are so special because you "stuck with them". That just means you had nothing better to do than watch boring, losing basketball.

I'm just as much of a Knicks fan as anybody -- I just can't tolerate this crap.

not sure what's so comical about being loyal to one's franchise through the tough times, but hey, ur free to have an opinion.

The expressions are comical not the actions, not sure why you're stuck on what I find humerous.

I don't get this either. Trueblue used to be a Bulls fan but is now a Knick fan. Who cares? Why not focus on the content of his arguments?

There is a certain twist-the-knife quality to a some of the posters here. TrueBlue got exposed here, for whatever thats worth. I may disagree with guys like Allanfan or TMS on certain issues, but I know, as cliched as it sounds, that we both share a burning desire to see the Knicks succeed which only comes from loyal support. We just may disagree on the path. Of course this is not to be confused with being a sycophant or management warrior.

With some posters around here, there is causal indifference at best which is why a majority of the threads degenerate into flame wars. Instead of this being a quasi-community of Knick fans, we have those who are clearly rubbing the Knicks misery in our faces. Its why we cant get a thread about a great Jamal Crawford game, or move, without a rabid pit bull response, or a threads about how great the Trailblazers are --- almost laughing in our faces. To some, there is no personal incentive to see the Knicks win and be successful and thats clear. Just a quick observation, off to class.

There was no exposure. Questions were asked answers were given. I don't run and hide or fear what I am, like some others around here often do. I can keep being drilled/grilled and you best believe I'll keep answering. If you don't like the answers well sounds like a personal problem to me, don't ask me anything then if you don't want the truth. I'm a straight shooter. I've been wrong on a few things posting on this message board and I've also been right far more often and I'll definitely let the masses know about it and own up to when I'm wrong. There's no criteria on fanhood, so once again no one was exposed. Fans can make observations about the Blazers and about Jamal Crawford's Staple 40%fg percentage all they want to, it matches the "We Fleeced Portland" and "Jamal Crawford Near All-Star" comments.

Thats true. But it did come as a surprise that you've got some other 'blood' in you thats not blue and orange. And that means something. What it means is debatable. To some it means your opinions on the Knicks are to be taken with a grain of salt. It is what it is.

I think too much is made about being right on a message board. So what, you were right about something you had a 50% chance of being right about. I was right that there would be no trades by the Knicks at the deadline. So what? Doesn't mean I can't be wrong about a million other things.

There is too much concern on this board with being right. So you get fans like earl and papabear who get run off the forum by the chorus of fools demanding a mea culpa. Imagine if there was no one left on this board but guys who were right about everything. There'd be no one here. Or there would be a few people who claim to always be right. Nobody cares how right you are if you're still an a-hole*

Just because I was rooting for the Bulls Back in the Day if I refute a statement made by someone who says... "Jamal Crawford Is A Top 10 starting 2Guard" doesn't mean it should be taken with a grain of salt as if my rebuttal is off-base and totally untrue. If that's your stance So Be It.

I think too much is made about those who think too much is made about being right on a message board. The 50% Right or Wrong discussions are easily avoidable.

Let's get this straight Papbear left because he got busted referring to other posters as racists and left of his own volition once proof was provided. He didn't get ran off. Earl is one of the Mea Culpa leaders starting the Ha Ha You're Wrong Suckas and then Fred Estairing his way around or away from such instances. Since everyone here is different... opinions, projections, expectations, etc etc will differ therefore we all get a chance to see the outcomes. Nothing wrong with being wrong. Just Man up when you are. The separations and angst exist when people don't man up or flat out lie, deny, accuse, and play victim, not when people toot their horns about being right.

TrueBlue, ironic name btw, the fact that your Bulls fandom extended throughout the '90s (coincidentally ending around the time their dynasty did) speaks volumes. In a vacuum the Bulls v Knicks might have been the biggest rivalry of the decade.

Nothing big here, I could tell by the tone of your posts that you generally dont give a flying fluck about the Knicks and you're just here largely to antagonize.

Its fine. Really is. UK is not a secret society or anything, but its just good to know where everybody stands. Not to say that your Knick indifference didnt translate with every post, but confirmation is always a good thing.

Bulls won championships in 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98 I stopped liking them after 93. ROTFLOL @ you seriously posting this after I clearly outlined my yrs of fandom for their team. Naw they never were a Dynasty after 93 they just 3 peated as CHUMPS 96, 97, 98 not Champs.

Yeah I spend all my time here to antagonize posters like you, yeah that's it you've figured me out.

That's ok you feel I don't give a Flying Phuck but your major oversight and inaccurate assessment could do you some good if you took your Kite and Flew It The Phuck Near some Electrical Wires.

I can't sit here and question someone's "fandom" who spends as much tme on a knicks message community as trueblue.

Trueblue has been a lot closer to accurate in his assesment of this team since i have been lurking and posting here then those who see fit to attack him in this thread.

Evil's take on rooting for this franchise is as close to being on the money as anything i have seen in this thread

So you stopped when Jordan retired. You didn't root for the Scotty teams. BY then, the Knicks were good so you switched allegiances.

No. But when you say Knicks = Garbage or some other such erudite claim. We can take that with a grain of salt.

Maybe. maybe not. We'll see. I belong to other forums where the subject is not the Knicks and everyone gets along. This board is full of people looking for an argument. Guys like to carry around their own personal strawmen and set them up here. Ascribing the beliefs of this strawman to any poster who disagrees with them.

Like me being called a Dolan Soldier. or Briggs being called an Isiah apologist.

It occurs to me that people who feel that being called on their shtt is tantamount to being "run off" a board are not the types who should be stirring it up in the first place.

mind telling me what you don't find comical? the fact that someone thinks they have a right to criticize others for being loyal to the franchise they themselves claim they're a fan of doesn't strike you as hypocritical in any way, shape or form? that's what i'm focusing on, pretty much the content of his arguments on this thread.

No one is doing this to the extreme you're making it out to be but even if so it's to carry the strawman around than carrying EY Curry and begging him off here when he has a good game from a span of 15gms played.
