I'm on stubhub right now, and it looks like I'll have to drop $120+ to get tix inthe 300s, around mid court... any other year, I might have gone for it without looking at the price... but is it really worth it this year ?

I'd go for the home finale against the Celtics on April 14. At least we will see KG and a good Boston team play !

I don't really know the Garden very well, but do you think I should go mid court in the 300s, or in the corner in the 200s ?

french - WAIT for the boston tickets. do not buy them now. it's the last game of the season, kg may not even play. you can get much better seats for much cheaper by just buying the tickets outside of the garden. the game is totally meaningless. so WAIT.

but for yankee tix, broadway shows, etc - buy the tickets now b/c those prices will only go up.

Is coasttocoasttickets.com a reliable website for tickets ?

I'm disgusted, I just miss on 2 great tickets at Yankess stadium (section MR13, for $135 apiece). You're right, if I wait too much, I won't get good seats. As for the Knicks game, I'm a little bit scared to wait too much since I really wanna go to MSG and I have to buy them early enough to receive them here in Paris.

don't worry about the knicks. you will be able to get tix. give me a day or two and i will see what i can do about tix. again, worst case scenario is that i can buy the tix for you and leave them for you at the will call window at the garden. you can then pay me via paypal. but do not worry about knicks tix.

get those yankee tix tho - they will only go up in price.

Thanks dj for helping me out. I really want to give my gf the best Garden experience, which means getting hopefully great seats, midcourt or close to the action. I'm ready to put some good money for them since it will be a one-time thing before a long time.

I'd like to buy the tix before the end of the week, so that it would leave plenty of time for me to receive them in Paris before leaving for the trip.

I'm also checking the different websites for the Yankees game. I'll try to get tix in the infield, but that might have to be in the tier reserve section (up in the stadium), something like that :

Should I go for the 1st base side or 3rd base side if I'm in the upper section ? The view seems to be better from the 3rd base bag...

get the 3B side so u can look into the Yankee dugout... the view isn't all that bad either... or if u prefer u can get 1B side & see the Yankee players walking into the dugout on ur side, but i prefer 3B side personally... also feels better booing the other team's players when they're walking towards my side (not that they can hear me from up there)

^Or that they care what someone in the upper deck has to say about them.

I guess some people consider $234 to be cheap. They have a one package for almost $7000.

I'll check teamexchange, coasttocasttickets andstubhub for Knicks tix. Do you think the experience is better from a mid court seat in the 300s, or in the corner in the 200s ?

I think I have my seats. Last question : at MSG, is row A the best row of any section (the one closest to the action) ?

In this case, row A in section 310 (mid court) would be a good seat ?

Yeah Row is up front in section 310. That's a pretty great seat. I usually sit up in the last couple of rows in section 423(but centered off) and I find that to be a great view. So you'll be in good shape.

FYI......Yankees games are way more fun to watch in the bleachers.....the bleacher creatures(season ticket holders in the bleachers) are hilarious. They chant crazy stuff non-stop.....you just can't drink but somehow alot of those guys are a boosed up. From that view you can see the bullpen and you can definately see the out fielders.......oh yeah and you see the homeruns coming right at you!!! I personally love bleacher seats.

French- are you looking at ticketmaster.com? They have plenty of seats available for that game at face value.

The best seats available are in section 343 row F right now, and you can't select anything else...
