A difference of opinion -which I don't think cn be resolved except in hindsight.
if Lee goes on to become the next Larry Bird or Larry Bird lite- then your right. If he goes on to become the next Austi Croshere- well- only time will tell. Same goes for Nate as well.
The point is it is my opinion - that at the numbers you suggest - it is better to look elsewhere.
As for the Kohl thing- I did post a link from Yahoo that said the Knicks turned down the deal. Again - the opinion is - why trade long term contrat for long term contracts - when there is no incentive in terms of player quality-. Randolph - for Michael Redd - I can see but Gujz/ect - no thanks. We don't really know - just because one side is constantly 'reporting' the same news for months - does lead one to pause and reflect -why is it SO important to keep putting this deal in the news like once a week for 6 weeks?
As for the babble - it is suspicious that the Saint's,Orlando , etc etc - all teams in a PRIVATE monopoly always seem to ave 'fantastic luck' in the draft - for example -Texas picking Mario Williams instead of Reggie Bush. I tend to be cynical when millions and millions are involved and the goal is to establish as many markets as possible- even at the risk of diluting the product (quality basketball/football/baseball). But -again - thats an opinion - thats all.
You need to take time addressing points that are made. You glossed over plenty of inaccurate statements made by yourself which were refuted.
Just curious......
I'm not asking you what you think we should pay Lee or Nate I'm asking you what you feel their current market value is/will be, giving them both a 5yr contract.
