I'm sure someone brought this up already, but it mentioned mentioned yesterday that Pop didn't seem to complain when they unfairly got Tim Duncan because of an injury to David Robinson. The man wouldn't have any championships without luck. I don't care how good they are in the front office.

He is just made because they have no assets or expirings to give up

I was wrong about Mardy thinking he was capable of turning into a Derek Harper type starting point guard. At least at this point he's not even as good as Harper's Mr. Potato Head Nose. Everything else concerning this team I've been spot on.

I hear you. I'm in the same boat. The only times I've been wrong about the team in the past four years was when I was positive. Sad, isn't it?

Mardy Collins is such a scrub.

Chandler is headed in the same direction too.

Prime example of being positive getting me nowhere.

I don't think anyone could legitimately name a time where I was negative and find an instance where I was wrong.... which frankly, is really disappointing. I'd rather be wrong, than deal with the most pathetic franchise in the history of sports in the Universe. Yes, I'm even proclaiming that the Knicks are more pathetic than any sports team on any other planets with intelligent life.

it's hard to find any instance period where someone was negative about a move this team made & was proven wrong about it... obviously almost everything that's happened around here for the past few years has been negative w/the exception of D Lee & possibly Nate's improved play this year... i think most people around here were wrong about Nate except for possibly EnySpree & nixluva.

Meanwhile, more and more NBA commentators, GM, Coach's keep on agreeing with my point that the Lakers got Gasol for a bag of turds and it doesn't make sense and there seems to be an element of favors being handed out in the deal.

During the All-Star game they said owner George Shinn is looking to stay in New Orleans and get a new lease on the Arena that runs through the 2014 season. There's a deal on the table from Shinn which states if New Orleans can maintain 14,500 average attendance to the end of next season he'll keep the team there.

I wonder how selling the team factors into the owner working a long term new Arena deal?

They also said the owner isn't thrilled with the idea of having to move the team again. That he's noticing the city is recovering and anticipating growing support from the New Orleans community. Sounds to me Shinn is very attached to the team and committed to remaining an owner.

I've always maintained the mindset that the Gasol trade was just as much a basketball decision if not moreso than a business decision
