Baron sinking that three to end the third was big. Gave the Ws momentum after Balk made the spectacular play.

the lakers might actually be a better match-up
we dont have to go small can take full advantage of the two fatboys
though for the life of me i dont know why thomas always conforms to how the other team is playing and not the other way around

I really wanted Derek rose in this draft, but at this point he does us no good. Our front line of curry and zach have to go. They don't protect the paint. Biendrins had 26 boards. I counted, 15 of them he barely had to jump for and 3 of them went straight over curry's head into his hands. Had curry just jumped, not even much, he gets those boards... We don't defend the paint, I mean no blocks, or attempts, I am tired of being called soft....

We need to draft a big man who can block shots and protect the lane. either that or trade the pick for one...

One thing we learned, we got some guys who play Warrior style basketball that the warriors could use. Nate would thrive there. I like that team. I always was impressed with StephenJackson and Baron Davis back when Layden was running things.

Knicks couldn't stick a shot when it counted in the 4th today.

That's about what it come down to and the refusal to close out on 3pt shots(Stephen Jackson)

I guess the knicks felt since the warriors shot 2-18 from three and that is including barron davis prayer at the end of the half, that they were going to continue to miss. So they didn't bother guarding jackson, even after he hit the first two... that is called idiot ball!!

Worst was our bigs. curry and zach. Lee can't do it all by himself, curry and zach got molested by biendrins on the boards. Curry is a lazy fat ass ****!!!!!

You don't make draft decisions based on the players you have because all of them are unworthy of wearing the current uniform and should be traded. We don't have a chance at Rose anyway but if we did I'd certainly draft him. Then (assuming that we have a new guy in charge who knows how to build a team) we can attempt to rid of both Curry and Randolph and all the other deadweight on the team.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

We have to start somewhere with acquiring the right kind of players. Derrick Rose is a fine start, we can worry about finding a big who can protect the paint later. Having the chance to get a PG like Rose isn't going to come around too often, we have to get him while we can. Someone like Shelden Williams is perfect as a big man that would protect the paint and would come pretty cheap.

Derrick Rose is out of the question at this point. The Knicks are playing too well to get Rose. It's true that they lost this game but if the Knicks play as hard as they did tonight and in their last couple of games they won't lose enough games to have a realistic shot at Rose.

Since that dream is dead, the only thing left for me to hope for is Isiah getting fired. But I'm not sure if that will happen anymore either. Oh well, if he does stay hopefully Isiah can draft someone good at no. 10, which is around where we will be picking.

The more I watch this team the more I feel like we should be looking to draft H. Thabeet. This team would look so much different with a shotblocker/rebounder. Get a better SF and add a PG and I think we could be a really tough team.

Our coach begs to differ with your opinion. Some of us made similar statements in the past and got a lot of backlash when we did.
I think the argument was whether shotblocking itself was overrated and certainly it can be. There are teams in this league who stink defensively but get lots of blocks. There was no one who said we didn't need any shotblocking to my recollection, just that if you have good perimeter defenders that's more important than shotblocking. We need it cuz we totally lack any perimeter defense. So in our case we need a shotblocker to cover our weaknesses.

Still this was a good game for the Knicks and we had a chance to win. I was disappointed with Lee. He wasn't really giving a lot of effort on D. he also wasn't really boxing out enough to get rebounds either.

That became the argument after a statement like such was made...."I'd rather have a big in the middle who mans the paint, block some shots, get rebounds, and scores enough to be respected vs Curry". Then someone would say "like who"...the answer would be "Biendrins" and then the response was "He can't score like Curry can and shot blocking isn't needed as much as altering shots or challenging them" and someone would back that statement up with "yeah shotblocking is an overrated stat Curry doesn't block shots, and his rebounding is improving I prefer his scoring".

This season has been plenty of rehashed statements from 2yrs ago.

Nothing good comes out of Isiah staying other than a reward for losing. Don't get your hopes up that Isiah will suddenly do something good. They played hard last year too and they did that the entire year.

I agree just Rose alone does no good.

I think we could pull off a trade that could land us another lottery pick if we sacrifice. We need a full blown rebuild to get rid of all the REFUSE. Trading Zach or Curry by themselves get's you nothing of value in return combing them together in a trade is even more impossible. You have to pair each one with a valuable commodities and get back rebuilding pieces in return.

Especially when that's their style of play. To be honest if they weren't so horrible in the first half the game could have been real ugly fast. They had so many uncontested wide open 3pt shots it was alarming. I mean after Stephen Jackson makes a couple you might want to make him put it on the floor since he had quite a few turnovers tonight. This team is Toe Up From The Flo Up and needs to be pitched into an Abyss.

That was a good game. But like Kenny was pointing out, we really shouldn't have let the tempo play so fast for the whole fourth quarter. The knicks were at their best when they slowed up the game, took every shot within 8feet of the basket and crashed the boards. That's how you beat the Warriors, but we let the game get out f controll in the last quarter........ we definitly could have had that one though.

Less jump shots and more layups that were either cleaned up with put backs or drew fouls would have kept that lead we had. I think we can take the Lakers!!!!!!!

yea, we need to get another guard and a big in this draft. I don't see it happenning. I love derrick rose, but a big who has the chance to man the paint on defense would be valuable. Dwight Howard today put on a display during on sequence vs the celtics that was sick, he was throwing everything that came in there, It was just nasty..

I'd love to see us play this style. Trade ZBo and Curry if possible for quick athletic guys to go with Nate, Balkman, Lee, Craw, Jeffries, Chandler, etc.

That was one of the best games I've seen in a while.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

that was 1 of the more entertaining games i've watched all season... can't get on them for not giving it their all tonight... they played a tough, athletic team well & went punch for punch w/them in their house... have to applaud the effort regardless of the outcome.
