I never wanted zach from the start, I made that clear before. I even tried to support that clown just because he is on the knicks, but I have a hard time, that guy plays on his own planet.... I find it hard that you don't find any redeemable pieces on this team.... honestly it is going to be impossible to move every player, I just see some guys, like balkman and lee still being here, if not both one of them....

It's not that I don't find redeemable pieces on this train wreck, it's just that in order to accomplish our goals of making this team FLEXIBLE, we need to package those few players in order to remove the garbage that infests the team. It's unfortunate, but a necessary step in rebuilding this franchise from the top all the way to the bottom. Don't sound so sad, there are players just as good if not better than David Lee, Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawful and Renaldo Balkman. I NEVER like to give up homegrown players we draft, but in this desperate case, we have no other choice.

I watched a game in which west went at it with chris paul, then chandler went at it with west and in the end, it was all good, because the main goal for those guys is to win, nothing personal. West is a very good player, but I love the way paul plays. I remember some announcer comparing he and deron williams as PG's and I said, it isn't even close. Deron is more of a shooting guard IMO. Paul is the Pg with the mind of a jason kid but with better offensive skills. He is just an amazing player. Sometimes I wonder if he is really that damn good.... As far as them being waaaaay better than the pistons... wow.. I don't know bro..... we will see..

Well maybe I'm overrating NO just a bit and underrating the Pistons because the Bobcats looked great against Detroit and looked awful against the Hornets. I was soooooooo impressed with NO, mainly for how they control the tempo of a game. Byron Scott has proven to be one hell of a head coach. Nets made a big mistake in letting him go.
anyway what is the deal with okafor? do you think he gets moved at trade deadline?

Ugh, I can't stand him. So inconsistent and not aggressive every game. He's a completely different player from years past, mainly because I don't think he likes playing under Sam Vincent. Also, the Cats didn't pay him what he wanted during the summer so he's probably annoyed about that. And there is a weird chemistry between he and Felton. Don't really think they enjoy being on the court with each other. Ray plays much better with Nazr in the game.

But man at this point, I'm not giving him anything close to the 12-13 mil the Cats offered him over the summer. And no way do I pay him more than Wallace who is a million times better than Jokafor. He actually looked half-way decent tonight before getting into foul trouble. Always something with him.

I want the Cats to trade him to the Nets for a package of Sean Williams + filler and a #1. Because this gives the Cats flexibility to sign a player in the offseason above the MLE. Word on the street is that Antwan Jamison desperately wants to play in Charlotte next season because he and his entire family live here. That would be one helluva lineup with JRich, Crash, Jamison, Felton and Muhammed. Then you throw in another lottery pick which could be a point guard to compete with Raymond. Plus Ammo and May will be back next season so the serious depth problem they have this year won't be the same next season. Also Dudley is a pretty good player and Ryan Hollins has shown he can play too.

^ I think Jared Dudley is going to end up being a special player. He was awesome for BC, but fell because of weight/tweener concerns. Well, he looks like a SF now and he just understands the game so well... I hated him at first because of his seeming lack of athleticism and his plodding style, but the dude just knows how to ball. He gets the ins and the outs of the game.

Shame he didn't last until the Knicks picked him... but the Knicks were ready to be the only team in the league willing to take Chandler in the first round, so maybe its better he didn't last (for my health).

I feel ya, but I don't think that will ever happen here... I think the best we can hope for, as I told true, is that we get a gm in here that can draft well over the next two year, while we have our lottery pick and hopefully we can get a big time talent and surround him with pieces like lee and nate.. I know this may not be what many may want, but I think it is more realistic... I just don't see NY going through a full dump.. it is sad that the few moves , good moves Isiah made, he has to use to correct his blunders.. geez..

wow, how the mighty have fallen. I remember a thread on realgm about okafor vs curry and many thought Okafor was much better.. seems like some fans are souring on him.. Hell I would still take his azz over curry...

BTW: did you call him Jokafor? ROFL.... hahahahaha.. another good one man... damn what do you do, sit around all day thinking up this shyt... LOL....

As far as that trade you want... Nets may go for it, but I love that sean williams. that kid is a player.. wasn't he on isiah's radar last draft?

Don't think that way. We can totally rebuild in NY because thanks to Isiah, he's made it soooo bad that Dolan cannot sell a partial rebuild or a "rebuild on the fly" approach. What we need is a superstar GM to come in and completely cleanse MSG from Isiah's mess. Dolan needs to sit back, not get involved, BUT also hold EVERYONE in the franchise ACCOUNTABLE. There should not be an open checkbook, EVERY move must be highly scrutinized before being made. Dolan is trying to run the Knicks like he's running the Yankees. The problem is, there is salary cap in the NBA and EVERY players value must equal their contract. In baseball you can buyout your mistakes and it only hurts in the wallet. Dumbass Dolan needs to be taught how the salary cap works. Idiot. The problem with Dolan is that he likes to spend Daddy's money and thats why he doesn't care when he has to buyout Larry Brown or give Isiah the go ahead to spend 30 million on Jerome James. Dolan has never had to account for money spent because he himself is so used to spending other peoples money.

Well lets not get crazy here, I would still take Jokafor over Curry in a heartbeat. But I don't want Jokafor at 12 mil per. Bad value.

Yes now that I follow the Bobcats, more names pop into my head when I see these clowns playing like sh it. Like McMinus.

I love Sean Williams too. Unfortunately to be on Isiah's radar, you have to fall into the 20's in the draft.

One thing I really like about Dudley is his toughness. Dude loves to get in the face of the opposing player and play good defense. He can rebound too and will knock down a jump shot. That was a nice pick by MJ. And I have to say, MJ did a pretty good job this offseason. (Except for the head coach)

I watch my team to lose. I want to support losing teams. I am planning on supporting the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays this year because I support losing teams solely for the purpose of rooting for them to lose.

Damn, whatever genius came up with that line of thinking as to why some people are currently rooting for the team to lose must be on the level of Albert Einstein.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

good point. The biggest difference with the yankees and the Knicks is that the Yankees will make sure they have a legit franchise player on their team... Ie: jeter and A-rod.... The knicks spend that kind of money and end up with guys that don't even come close... If george was the knicks owner, isiah wouldn't have lasted a year... LOL.

Right and it all goes back to the accountability issue. George is the one responsible for the money and if a move doesn't work out, it affects him personally. Dolan on the other hand, doesn't care about money because the money is not his. He has Daddy's money to bail him out. Dolan doesn't understand what accountability means because all his life whenever he screwed up, he knew he had pops in his back pocket. It's the same with the Knicks. Even though I hate Steinslobber, he's the one who takes the hit if things don't work out and he's willing to correct the mistake immediately by getting rid of the problem in order to right the wrong. Dolan just keeps on spending and spending and spending because thats all he's ever known his entire life. I knew this man was going to be a HUGE problem the moment he forced out Checketts.

well I am a yankee fan, and although I like george, the yanks got better and started winning rings when george was sort of forced to stay away from the daily operations and the yanks developed their own talent, but lets not be mistaken, bob watson and now cashman have done a pretty good job in understanding what it takes to win.... I know baseball is a lot different, but when the yankees make a mistake, they try to rectify it quick, IE: randy johnson... Isiah keeps making mistakes trying to justify his first mistake, that is what has us in the position we are in now..

Here ya go, TrueBlue fire isiah washington

I've heard it during other road games recently as well. I swore I heard a faint one at the bulls. I'm sure you heard the guy screaming it in Charlotte. Knick fans everyone have had enough.

Hey, SC, nah no can do I just don't keep the files anymore. SO much data and if you don't name every shred of it from the get go you wind up with random directories filled with crap. So I just don't keep it anymore....I upload, make sure they work, then wipe em out.

Yeah I remember the Charlotte game because some of us thought it could have been Major who said it. Thanks for the video you can hear it pretty clear.
