How much of a difference did Gilbert orginally make True? His first year they were 25-57. The next year they added Antawn Jamison and they won 45 games. I don't think Jamison is the difference maker but I really don't think Gilbert is that much of a difference maker either.

Well it takes time and it's hard to be one when you miss 30gms your first yr. He's part of the difference that provides a winning culture. Just like Caron wasn't that much of a difference maker in LA like he has been in Wash. It also takes time for the player to develop into becoming a Top talent which Gil and Caron have.

the emergence of caron butler is the difference with the wizards. He is a legit two way player who has transformed into a leader.... Butler is a difference maker.. Gilbert is a scorer, he carried the wiz as far as most bad shot taking scorers can take their teams. He is fools gold, time for thw wiz to cut cords with this guy.. will be for the better. Get a real PG, they have butler and jamison, they will be better for it...

That's how you feel TKF and that's fine but Gil single handedly won plenty games for them last yr so he's a difference maker just not to your liking. Like I said Arenas got the Wiz to the playoffs with 45wins before Caron came on board. I agree Caron is definitely a difference maker, you can have more than one on a team you know. Kind of like Horry was a difference maker on the championship Rocket and Laker teams, although not a top 1 or 2 player ever on those teams.

we can agree to dissagree. I posted an article to be fair on realgm about this issue and the article did not agree with my viewpoint for the most part, but it did quote some respected NBA coaches that felt the same way I did, that if they remove arenas and use that money to fill in some other areas, with what they have, they could be even better..

again, it is debatable , I may be wrong, but I think it is a valid argument...

I'd be curious to see what some of the deals are that Isiah has turned down.

He probably turned down Bryant and Bynum for Jerome.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I could do the same as you take for instance tonight Kenny Smith said "Make no mistake about it the Wiz are not a better team without Arenas". But I agree we'll have to settle on disagreeing.

kenny also made an argument for keeping a guy like steph around, so I take that he says with a grain of salt sometimes... Kenny is respected tho, so his opinion means a lot. I just don't agree with him there.....

I know!

As fans often we pick and choose when it suits. I don't do that I try to stay consistent and man up when I'm wrong. I'm pretty much black or white, take it or leave it. You'll never find me in a Grey area or Flip-flopping.

dude please..... I said I don't agree with kenny on this point, do you always agree with everything an announcer says? do you? If you do, then welcome to the land of the mindless. If you don't then I guess you are also a flip flopper by your definition...
