when the score was 91 90, there was no need for the 3 point shot. Why was Zack out of the game?

bad pass, but Nate did not goe far enough to the ball either. Farmar stepped in but Nate also crumbled.

Dam, That energy group almost made isiah look good ruining his plan to get fired!!!!

More evidence of bad basketball. We should be relying on motion and passing to get shots and all we did was rely on one on one ball from a hot player. This is not a formula for winning.
What it does show me tho is that we need to change our approach when it comes to a guy like Jamal. He could be a deadly weapon if used right. We should be using him differently. Have him coming off screens and curls and run more things thru him. Once he get's warmed up offensively teams can't stop him. His handle is too good. If you have an offense that is still capable of scoring in the post but doesn't force it then we'd be a much more potent team. It's too easy for teams to defend our post offense cuz it lacks that perimeter aspect. Jamal and Nate could give us that with their speed, elusivenes and shooting. Run those guys using picks and screens and then have them use their creativity to open up easy looks inside rather than strict post ups with no motion on the perimeter.

Well, we lost but I'm going to still rub in it by buddy's face that his team allowed us to get within a point after being up by 25.

We don't play for 48 minutes.

Tracy Morga... I mean, Andrew Bynum is going to be really good. I don't think he'll be in the line of other great Laker centers but he's going to be pretty good.

Trautwig just called a conspiracy of sorts saying Phil Jackson purposely left the bench in to let us back in it.

8-19.

Happy Holidays, anyway, guys.

yea, nate should have come to the ball, lee had no timeouts, but this unit gave me something to cheer about, get two more legit starters in there to replace malik and jeffries and we will be ok, but that is only going to come through the draft I feel. Malik and jeffries should be getting time off the bench.. this team is so phuched up!!

Who cares about the lineup? It isn't the problem. It's just the same ****, different smell. Nothing is going to change. Knicks lost a lot more games this season due to poor play and terrible defense and less on bad starts.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I wonder if that means Eddy is being traded or if he's going to have his butt glued to the bench. I don't think Eddy would be too happy with the latter.

Nixluva, does Jamal do most of his scoring off screens and curls or Iso's off the dribble?

Jamal isn't much different than most scoring combo-guards. They work best through ball domination.

I know you are right, take it from me it's not worth it to get all bent out of shape with this team. This I have learned

So Nate had 9 times as many rebounds as Eddy! Where's that Nate/EY rebounding thread?

I honestly think that Phil Jackson left his backups in, even as the Knicks were coming back, because he didn't want his team to get too full of themselves heading into their Christmas showdown with the Suns. Like a 20+ point win would have had them feeling too good and he didn't think there was any chance that they would lose once he put Kobe and the other starters in. It's the type of psychological crap that Phil loves.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System
