Curry is a rich man's Oliver Miller.

I know he's still young, but 7 years in the league already. With his weight and conditioning I don't see Eddy being in the league 20 years. His career is probably close to half over already. It's time for him to start bringing it while he's still got it.

I actually made an Oliver Miller reference the past couple days with an NBA.com link to Miller's stats after Isles made a Benoit Benjamin reference. Sometimes we're in unison.

LOL! Oliver Miller? what drug are you smokin?... have u ever watched him play? other than being fat what the hell does he have in common w/Eddy? he's only even averaged double figures once in his entire NBA career... he's been nothing but a marginal role player ever since he came into the league... u guys are seriously buggin now.

That's why he's a rich mans Miller. Oliver Miller had long arms and a soft touch, which made him potentially potent around the basket. He was never destined for greatness but he could have done far more if he could keep his weight under control. Barkley, with personal experience in matters of weight and conditioning, almost drove him off the Suns by invested so much effort into badgering/motivating him to care.

The comparison was more qualitative then quantitative. They shared similar qualities, but Curry has more quantity.

Plain and simple Curry will never be an above average player in this league. Obviously if you force feed him the ball he will score, if you force feed anyone they will score. He will never be a rebounder or a shot blocker because he is fat and lazy. These are the facts. No defensive presence, awful passing, awful FT shooting, no blocked shots just goaltending because his fat ass cant get up, has he taken a jump shot this year? These things will never improve and he will only get fatter over years. oliver miller is a good comparison wait a few more years and he will eat himself out of the league like oliver.

Dont worry isiah said it takes 9 years to rebuild, picture Curry in 9 years.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

I don't think there's any doubt that Curry is not worth 2 lottery picks. But being honest, there are very few players who are- AND THAT is precisely why Isiah needed to get more protection on the picks. To assume he was gonna add enough wins to our record to keep us out of the top 10 was also a bad judge of his talent/skillset- though I'd say even the biggest doubters of Curry thought Larry Brown and the roster he got that year would've resulted in about 15-20 more wins. He had Marbury coming of a career best year efficency wise and several guys that despite their flaws, had the perception that the arrow pointing up on their production.

I did not. I tried to warn you guys. It's not the coach. It's the players. I tried, I tried, I tried.........
how many years has it been since we went on and on and on about the problem with the Knicks was NOT Don Chaney but the players? The problem is not Lenny, Herb, Larry or Isiah either. Its the players.

First you dump the guy that brough in these players, then you start dumping the players. Not rocket surgery

A combination of Rocket Science and Heart Surgery. It's a new thing, supposedly it can transform a no skill sloth like Curry into an Ewing or Olajuwon

The disgraceful Francise Center Doesn't Hold a Candle to the top these guys, and since Isiah believe no one in that draft would be better than curry, it's always nice to revist, especially since it's going to take another 5 years to get out of this whole we have been in the past 5.

L. Aldridge 18.7pts 7.7rbs 0.8ass 0.7stls 1.2blks
B. Roy 17.9pts 4.4rbs 5.3ass 1.1stls 0.3blks
R. Gay 18.7pts 5.6rbs 1.7ass 1.4stls 1.0blks

Eddy Curry 15.2pts 5.5rbs 0.6ass 0.3stls 0.6blks
(averaging more TO's than ass, blks, stls again)

Nice work and Had Curry not hit that 3-pointer against the bucks we were likely moving to number 5-7 in last years draft. How close the Knicks could have come to really developing into a good team without cap space. But Isiah loves rebuilding just not his own team

curiously i didn't see you making these stat comparisons last year when Curry was putting up 20 & 7... those kids all look very good & i agree that i'd rather have any of them over Curry at this point, but what are their teams' records? their teams stink just like the Knicks do... if these kids are so great how come they can't elevate their teams to better success either? POR has 2 of those kids in fact & still they're languishing at a not so eye popping record of 8-11.
What are your thoughts now that the young Blazers are a .500 western conference team (which is probably equivalent to being a .550 to .600 eastern conference team)?
