Sorry BigC, but I guess we are seeing different things out there.

Lee looks like he is hustling to me but he isn't getting up there as often as he was last season. I think that is having a big effect on his inability to finish on those easy buckets this season.

If you look at when Lee gets the ball in the post, he usually does a good job in getting an open shot. He has some good moves in the post and he has been getting off good shots. However, he's not finishing like he did last season and his jumper has also been off. Look at his free throws though, he hasn't suffered there (you don't jump to take a free throw).

I think something is up with him physically. Maybe he just needs to lose weight like King said, idk. But, its clear to me this isn't the same Lee as last season.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

I will make no excuses but he didnt play basketball for three months and I think it is the extra weight. He played last year at 252 and this year at 265. Lose 10 lbs take stress of the leg and he finishes the shots he is missing. Not worried about the rebounding has had one bad rebounding game and that was last night.

Honestly, Earl,

I think it is not just about being fat. For instance, I have league pass and other commentators frequently refer to Q as being 25-30 pounds overweight. They call him a load, like many would refer to curry. However, this fat makes him a better defender. Of course, Q is quite muscular as well, which also helps his defense.

To be honest, Curry's fat makes him a better man on man defender. He is tough to move. However, it is his extremeley poor reaction time which makes him a terrible help defender, which is what every good teams needs in the middle.

Lee may or may not be overweight but that is not the problem. He still moves quickly to where the ball is at, which is something that is important when you don't have a shotblocker. There is clearly something deeper going on.

I said he looked fat in some training camp pics I saw.

Don't make me go and dig up the thread where it happened.

Cash - the NBA season is a marathon. Whatever is ailing Lee, it isn't anything a few more open looks can't fix. Get him the damn ball and let him shoot his way out of it.

Channing Frye called David Lee and told him " Dave man, if you want to get traded from the knicks go into a slump and they will ship you out and put you in a packaged deal do you know how many teams in the league want a good white player like you "

David Lee: Oh yea I forgot, thanks Channing I almost forgot .

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

How about this possibility? Maybe Lee isn't motivated to play for a racist?

you think Isiah is a racist?

Not sure about that but he is pretty dumb for playing Marbury.

Didn't you listen to his comments in the trial?

Hey, I think Isiah is a ****head, but I don't think David is thinking that Isiah is a racists so he won't play hard. that's just diminishing David and his thought process.

Not that I care if isiah s racist or not, but his followup hardly showed love for whites. All he did was tell them he wasn't saying it was okay for black men to call black women bitches, he just suspects racism when whites do it.

He essentially by suggesting the word "bitch" from whites carried racial overtones (which I'm sure is news to most whites), and for trying to make the trial about his feelings for the use of the word by whites when in fact he and Marbury were the ones accused.

David Lee has an opportunity to make a statement in a pivotal game against the Celtics by leading the Knicks reserves in his role as a valuable sixth man

I see a window open for a double double performance
