You speak of these tapes as possibly being "doctored". That usually suggests a certain technical trickery that requires video experts to detect. Nothing of the sort happened here. This was simply a matter of the prosecution showing the most relevant portions from hours of deposition tapes.

If the defense team felt it would serve their case to show additional portions they had the opportunity to do so then, during the trial. That the defense team didn't suggests there was nothing there to defend him.

BTW, the appeals process isn't designed so that every defendant gets two tries to prove himself innocent. The appeals process isn't a new juried trial (though it can sometimes result in one), it's briefs submitted to a panel of judges asserting that something clerical or administratively was mishandled by the court. Your own defense team neglecting to show additional footage, that was imminently available to them, is not grounds to have the decision overturned, unless perhaps you are claiming that your lawyers were incompetent.

If, and it's probably a long shot as most decisions are held, this decision were overruled then a new trial might be held. But how attractive is it to re-air this case with the possibility of accumulating additional fines and fees? The best they might hope for would be to have Anusha still accept a lower settlement to avoid the cost and hassle of the appeals process.

If Dolan were smart he'd put this behind him as quickly as possible. But prudent behavior is the last thing we've come to expect from him.

The truth will come out. If Zeke and Dolan are lying we will find out. If Ms brown and her lawyers did do something with the tape we will find that out too. But for you haters it makes no difference because you've already prejudged the man. Thats what haters do.

It is one thing to complain and cite existing role models. Anyone can do that.
