That's kind of uncalled for. Additionally, you can always tell when someone has a weak or incoherent argument because they'll attack the person instead of the issue at hand. It's easy to call someone a racist to just about anything you might disagree with.

I'll step in for papa on this one. Arkrud's comments were harsh, or could easily be interpreted as such (allowing for his broken English)

"Now I know... why white people are racist," "Land of soft people," You will not survive as a culture," etc, adds up to a pretty harsh indictment of blacks -- as represented by papabear anyway.

Now maybe if one understands that Arkrud is Russian, his english is broken, and he's talking about how Nazi Germany, the former Communist Block Nations, and Asian dictatorships dealt with their own races it might mitigate things somewhat. Or maybe not. But as written I'm not shocked by the response he got.

However, nor am I surprised by the responses papabear gets either.

OK - the problem here is general approach.
I am not blaming anybody in general.
If Hitler killed half of my family I will never blame all Germans for this, and I will never blame anyone specific German unless it is proven by the court of law that he was killing people.
If some whites and some blacks are racist it is not the reason to blame all blacks and whites or anybody personally unless it is proven that SPECIFIC individual is guilty.
This is one of the cornerstones of America and if you are not agree to comply with this you should move to some place where people used to direct their anger to random bystander of some sort at the blessing of the government. They will appreciate you help… But make sure you are looking right for the place. And, I am sorry, you don’t have too many places to chose from.

Iam sorry fellas that I am not one of eloquence when it comes to making my points clear on these matters.

Also I'm happy that some do understand where I am coming from at least.

All white people aren't bad , I know that and you all know that.

By my point is don't blame the kids for their behavior, if the father and both parents are at home treating them wrong.

This is how I feel about america concerning black folks. What am I trying to say.

The parent would be the example of govt and law makers makers in our land who tried to treat a people like they weren't human for decades and then not to expect some of their offsprings to go bad.

If you treat kids wrong repeatedly and give them no alternatives , how they respond and react from that treatment can be detrimental to them functioning properly in our society. color doesn't matter of course.

This is what happend to some black people.

When you can look into a crowd that are all dressed alike and cannot visualy tell if someone that person is from hungary, poland, russia, france etc... and discriminate against them by looking at them, but can easily identify someone that's black , or asian, or hispanic because of their skin color.

Now that tells me only by observation can a few people be discriminated this way by looking at them and the rest of those mentioned can blend in with the others with their ethnictincity not known by most.

Most of those mentioned in the first half would be labled white with the last half labeled as minorities with a visual perception.

That's very easily determined and all those in the first half could possibly recieve the benefits of being white when using visual being the only method of discrimnating.

I will prohibit any laws in this country which put citizens of different race or nation in privileged conditions and change any government help programs to be dependable only on family income. Any special treatments are greatest course of racism and haltered.
The root of all problems is poverty.
We need to legalize drugs to uproot the mafia and bring drugs price down. Who will overdose and die - sorry. Every man has his fate.
Make a strict law against any lobbing to stop selling America to the people with big $$$.
Take same taxes from corporation regardless of size and bull sheet they provide in their books.
Just some stuff

Had it not been for special programs and new laws for minorities we might still be in the stone age of civil rights. Some times you have to force companies to hire minorities. Some times people are hell bent on not hiring minorities. I know some people long for the good ol days beleiving the old segregation ways where you just leave to the indevidual company owners to make up his or her own mind and the best man for the job will get the job no matter what color you are. A noose was found dangling in a Long Island town's police department, horrifying officials who rushed to condemn the hateful act.

The scandal at the Hempstead Police Department began early Friday, when a maintenance man spotted the noose hanging from a pipe in a men's locker room.

Officials said they were stunned that racism would rear its head in the diverse department and questioned whether the act was linked to a deputy chief's recent promotion or a push to recruit more minorities.

"I used to read about this with the KKK, as far back as I can remember," said Perry Pettus, a town trustee. "To hear about something like this in this community, it's just a sad situation."

Nassau County and Hempstead police were investigating who hung the noose, long an emblem of lynchings and racism in the Old South. Scorn for the symbol has been renewed since three nooses were hung outside a school in Jena, La., last year, prompting race-related fights and arrests that have captivated the country.

"It's just mindboggling in the wake of the high-profile case in Jena that you would do that, that someone would be so full of hate," said Hempstead Mayor Wayne Hall.

In Hempstead, officials said about half of the 107-member department are minorities. Department officials recently hung a banner announcing their participation in an effort to recruit more women and minorities to be cops.

Several community leaders expressed concern that the noose could be linked to the April promotion of Willie Dixon, who is black, to deputy police chief.

Hempstead Police Chief Joseph Wing would not discuss what evidence was collected in the locker room, but confirmed that only cops have access to the basement room.

"They're upset, leaning toward outrage," Wing said of the department's reaction. "It's because of all of the symbolism that the noose comes with historically and the fact that it was hung in a police department."

Longtime residents said the incident was out of character for their community.

"I've lived here all my life, and I've never heard of anything like this," said Edward Tolver, president of the Hempstead NAACP. "Hempstead Police Department is one of the most diverse police departments in the state. It's sad to see something like this happen."
