In the period from 69-72, the winners were the Knicks, Bucks and Lakers. In 74-5, his year with Portland, Golden State won it.

He not only won the DPOY in 1985-86 but also the most improved player.

So in the last 21 years Gary Payton, Michael Jordan, and Alvin Robertson are guards that won DPOY

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Brent Barry, Jon Barry and Rick Barry all lead the league in FTS% for a season at one point in their career (Rick Barry did it in the ABA)

Bison Dele, who's name was originally Brian Williams was the son of the lead singer (Tony Williams) of a very famous group from the late '50s called The Platters. The Great Pretender, Only You, Twilight Time, and Smoke Gets In Your Eyes were some of their great hits.
