I prefer the gym over a jazz club. As a matter of fact in about an hour and a half I will be at a gym making sweet music on the nets.

If you feel that you are the only one that understands what it takes to make up a team than chances are you don't have a good idea of what it takes to make up a team.

Nope, just wasn't worth addressing further, like so many of the circular arguments here.

Lets be honest instead of arguing semantics. For the purpose of my argument there is no difference between saying this team should win 48 games but won't because it always dissappoints vs. a prediction of 48 wins...either way you get to complain that the team isn't meeting your expectations, just getting to do it earlier.

In udder words, if the team wins 37 games next seaon that might meet trueblue's "prediction" so he gets to say he was "right" but Isiah still sucks because they should have 48. How does this contradict what I said? It doesn't. But you want to argue the difference between a "prediction" and an "expectation"...I know you like to argue just to argue, but I get bored just thinking about it.

Just thought I would get that in there before this thread gets locked.

No, not remotely amigo. But not surprised you'd try to twist it that way.

Me? I have no complaints. I'm spending the week-end at the beach and word is its going to be in the high 70s low 80s with sunshine. Couldn't be better.

My original point (to bring it back because I have learned that posters here have the attention spans of 6 year olds), regardless of how many seasons this team has "underachieved", your saying that you should expect 48 wins (different from predict, remember, stay with me here) makes it fairly safe that you are going to be able to say they underachieved again come next season's end.

That is if they don't meet or exceed 48 wins. If they do, well, I guess you will always have the sexual harassment suit to hang your "hater" hat on.

Just tired. It's been a long week. I have a lot on mind regarding things unrelated to this board.

I like coming here to chill, but lately the board has just been a mess. You can't have a reasonable discussion anywhere without getting jumped on. I can tell people aren't reading my posts or they're been translated to Greek upon posting, because some of what I get in response lately is just ridiculous. Then there's the gimmick posters, I'm getting fed up with those too. So, I'm a pit peeved. I'm tempted to take a break from the board for a while... which will probably make most of the posters happy.

I do appreciate the concern, though.
