We got a point guard that we can use for something and we got a shooter that we were looking for. Also we have a low post presence that no NBA team can match.Curry and Zach outscore Tony Parker in the paint,TAKE THAT SPURS!(Isiah's thinking).
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

No he makes $13.3mil, $14.6mil, $16mil, and $17.3mil

and let's get this straight Zach has been 20/10 the past 2-3 yrs on a bad team. Portland get injected with life when they got Roy. Zach shot 19fga/gm @ 46% in 36min/gm while getting .22blks. This team didn't have that big of problem scoring. They would get off to slow starts due to lack of energy, poor point gaurd play and lack of perimeter threat to help spread the floor, compounded with extremely poor interior defense.

We drafting someone like Splitter now?

We lose an extra roster spot with this trade so I guess its either go international or buy someone out.

Personally I like this trade - its gets rid of dead weight in Francis and Channing wasnt doing much for us last season.

Are we all forgetting how many people started hating on Frye? The guy couldnt produce. Zach and Curry will be a nice front court - we just need a shooter now.

I hope so.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

a sign and trade with nate and craw (with filler) to seattle for rashard lewis could make some more sense now... we will need to drop one roster spot... they have room for a sg now that allen is in boston...

So it looks like we are going to have:

Eddy Curry
Zach Randolph
Q Rich
Crawford
Marbury

Sorry I was off by that mil in the first year.

Honestly what is Zach's and Curry's ceiling? It can't be high at all whether we feel we got the better player out of the deal.

I am not denying that Zach is a talented offensive player, just like Curry. The problem I have is that there is only 1 basketball. Add to the fact that Marbury and Crawford are part of the starting unit and I seriously wonder when the first brawl is going to ensue.

I already said that as a standalone I like the trade but it doesn't make any sense with Curry here. What else can I say. Give me a choice and I build around Randolph.
