This is typical what you get with one-year mandates of the coach. He'll do anything to try to get some results and easily forget the longer-term needs. You cannot be rebuilding with a one-year mandate, that's completely contradictory, people overlook this constantly but a one-year manger can't be brought to rebuild.

And what would you or Isles opinion be on it if Larry Brown did it DJ?

At this current moment I don't know what to think about this current move. I think James sucks. But I also think that if James cared at all about basketball he would make a huge impact on this team on defense. I guess like everything I will take a wait and see how it all unfolds before I support or bash the decision.

But if Isiah is looking to move Frye for Ray Allen anyway then I can see why he wouldn't care enough about Fryes mins right now. Or if he is looking to try and shot James for the deadline.

jerome james is a big fat stiff. he's done nothing to earn himself any minutes. yet there he is, starting. meanwhile guys that are busting tail are the worse for the wear. what has jerome done to earn the starting job over frye? over lee? heck, over malik? nothing.

what are we doing? are we trying to build something here or are we just operating on a game to game basis?
