I don't think people realize that this is an improving team.

Isiah, how you doin'!?

Are you trying to argue that the team isn't improved over last season because of the development of Lee and Curry? Seriously?

If so, I'd rather be Isiah than whoever you are.

How development of Lee is related to IT and Co?
Nobody was counting on him in Knicks organization. IT has hard time even to speak about Lee.
Eddy is nice half-player so what? One young players and one half-star is not enough to have any improvement.
What this "improved" team accomplished so far? Browl? 19-27 record - the 21st in the lague? And this in worst division on worst conference in years?
Comeon...
Because of this "we are improved" mentality this team will never moved forward...

Huh? A head coach doesn't deserve credit for players that develop under his watch? It's been reported that Aguirre has taught Curry how to improve his low post game, and it's hard to imagine that Lee isn't getting similar coaching from the staff.

I really don't understand your point.

My point is simple.
The improvement of 1 or 2 players is not improving the team.
It is highly unlikely that non of 15 players will improve in 1-2 years.
But it is not enough to make a winner.
The player is like a leased car - can be wrecked, traded, get into mental or physcal slamp...
Good NBA teams make it possible to sustein the temporary or permanent loss af any player on the roster and still play at high level.

I disagree. As I have posted before, this team is better than their record. The whole is not always greater than the sum of the parts at any given snapshot in time, but over time the whole cannot help but be better as its component parts improve. That is exactly the process that is taking place on the Knicks right now.

This team has considerably more young talent than the group that Isiah inherited. The problem is that he overpaid for too many of the players he acquired.

I never said that they are a good team at this point. But the foundation for the future is undeniably improved.

I respect you opinion but this will need to be proven the next 2-3 month and the next season.
Also as you sad this team is still long way from good so it is overoptimistiic to expect us to win just based on the opponents. It's all about how our team is ready to play.
It is also a good way to approch games - if you 2-3 improved players are playing good the win/lose result is irrelevant. From this prespective todays game was nice. Lee was bolling, Eddy was mollin, and Cfar was gunning... or forget Bulkman was hustling and has a good numbers. Great lose...

LOL just got home and was wondering how much they would lose by and a 2pt loss to the lowly Bucks is comical and fitting. No Redd, or Simmons, just got Mo and Vill back from injuries and they allow this team to score over 100pts.

The team's improved but it's still a bad team. It's flat out awful when you consider how few wins per $ dollar in payroll they're getting.

hey it shouldn't be outside the realm of reality to accept that we love our team and that we suck.

There should be two game threads next time the games on delay. I waited til 6pm to watch and was trying to read this thread while watching, but kept reading too far ahead.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

The REAL fans would be able to post in both game threads in the same day. Once from Gamecast, once from watching the game. Now that is hardcore!
