Posted by islesfan: I'd like to point out to some of you guys, regarding the Shaq vs. Curry situation. Guys like Duncan, Shaq and KG are going to start to fade in skill and dominance and guys like Curry are up and coming and will be the dominating forces in th league. I think that's what your missing. I'll never trust this' team again.

Thankyou Killa4luv great leg work, I know what I see on the court. THe man takes a fall away hook from the dotted line, ain't noway in hell he is four feet from the basket.

You know you're bored when people are getting into a heated arguement on how far away from the basket, someone was, when making a great move then hitting the shot. Point is, it was a post move. If a guard would have made that move, people would be saying it was a classic guard post up move. His back was to the basket from mid range and made a move to get to the basket.
There are plenty of end of the game post up moves. “I couldn’t dunk it so I tried to, you know, just touched it.”- OG Anunoby

Posted by newyorknewyork: essentially. DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

4 feet, 6 feet, its a post up play in the paint. Great job illustrating your point (what was it again?)
And its not close to 10 feet unless your counting to the backboard. If you counting the distance to the front of the rim 4 feet looks about right. Hey... looking at that video, why wasnt Curry in the floor? Anyway you seem to have lost it a bit. Its a totally valid point. This thread is about Curry in crunch time. All I said was Curry's poor defense gets him benched more than anything else. You know he can score, so why else wouldnt the coach play him. "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs

Fish and Isles you guys are off. He is definitely further than 6 feet. This is about math and angles and its difficult to explain but if some one is standing 6 feet away from the basket, directly in front of the rim, and you move them left or right a couple of feet, they are no longer 6 feet away from the basket, they are further than 6. I can't tell you exactly how many feet he is away, but I can unequivocally say he is at least 7 feet away.
